  3. i have an 18mth old pup bred this way really nice dog self entered and puts 110% into catching whatever having trouble putting pics up so go to my profile and look at my content if you want to see him hes 25tts and 63lb let us know how the pups turn out matt32

  5. go and do a hard days work on a building site on an empty gut and see how you feel at the end of the day ( im only going by what i have been told ) nothing you have said makes sense, sorry mate humans and dogs are different
  6. totally agree with bird ,rabbits get a bullx started and helps get them fit ,but if your running redskins no point in running rabbits before ive made the mistake of doing that a dog needs to be pretty sharp to catch old red.would like to add if people want only to run rabbits with there bullx so what i find bullx put there all in to everything and have an entertaining running style
  7. i feed my dog at 10pm unless im going out that night then i just feed when i get in,dogs digets food at different rates than us so you cant compare them to ourselves.also if you look at wild dogs and wolves you wont find them feeding then running around again six hourrs later.

  11. looking over the dog tonight and notived that the pad and side of toe is swollen no cuts or thorns that i can see the dog is not limping and i am able to touch his toe without him seeming in discomfort is this a sign its broken or dislocated and what should i do next ?any advice appreciated cheers matt

  15. let nature takeits course an clean up the skull only the antlers have lost there colour a bit is there anything i can put on them to tidy them up also how do you bleach the skull properly thanks matt

  17. thanks for all your replys the owner of the lab was not about and its not the first time the bitch has been out and about on her own i know accidents happen but if you know your dog wanders and is in season sort it out anyway tyke seems alright but its a sight a will never forget thanks again all atb matt
  18. took my dog tyke on his usual walk yesterday ,he went on ahead like he does only when i caught up with him he was on a labrador bitch,as i walked closer the stupid bitch ran off with him still in her net thing a yelp and blood lots of it ,i got to the vets within 15 mins she looked at it and said most likely a blood vessel, but having seen what happened iwasnt so sure anyway they took him out the back for a better look next thing the vets back saying hes losing blood and its an artery i dint think things were going to turn out good,they managed to tie the artery and ive got him back home no

  20. as i only started lamping at the end of last season and have never lamped before we went ou 4or 5 times before i got the right conditions,ground,and technique with the lamp right for my pup to catch he was 10 mths hes gone on to bigger and better stuff after only catching 15 rabbits if you get my drift so im more than happy with him to be honest it wouldnt of hurt to have held him back for another month cheers matt
  21. ive seen this dog in the flesh and shes spot on also got a good retrive which she showed by chasing a lure and then retrieving it,im sure she will fill the role lukehas got in mind for her and some nice pics mate atb matt32
