Rekord match trigger of the HW is absolute top, and makes you shoot 40% more accurate.

Buy a Gamo cfx, and spend some money on a charlie da tuna trigger, and you shoot much more accurate then with that heavy spring.

Hi Mad Al, got 2airguns at the moment, the HW and a BSA lightning xl FAC, both.177. If I compare both on prestations.. they are equal , but find the HW more accurate, and more "gun" for almost the same price as the BSA. The weight can be a problem for a tiny small person, but it give's a lot of stability when aiming. When you ask me? I find it the best springer at the moment! I shoot Diana's (RWS), CZ, Webley (patriot), Gamo cfx 30, 1000, 440 hunter and HW and HW90. ow, I almost forget to say that the 2 stage match triggers on HW's are making the big difference in shooting accurate.

Got a standard HW97k .177, zeroed at 25 yards, goes absolute flat up to 35 yards, at 50 yards a half inch lower. (Belgium, no limits, 18ftlb)

Its all a matter of vieuw I think, some find it neccesary to cull a terrier at 6 months becouse he's not interrested in rats, or fox. others have more patience and say it isn't good to enter a dog too early. Can imagine that if, your in hunt service for someone, your ammount of terriers have to be top class 365 days a year, breeding a lot, testing a lot and maybe unneccesary cull a lot. I think that when an anti read a story about testing and culling,that it is a different story when it comes from a "sunday terrierman" or from someone in "hunt service" if you know what I mean. It's not becouse its a 2 year old dog, that you dont have to enter it slowly. It's not the age that counts but the expierience. (my opinion) A half worked fox is a good occasion/quarry to test a terrier in that situation, And he did well, en so do you

dont no how many stoats -in numbers- we are talking about when they are common, but I dont think that a stoat can reduce a rabbit population down, as mixie do, or traffic, or me and my HW 97k They migrate all the time,( read that somewhere) so they just passing your field occasionaly and eat 2 or 3 in a couple days an move on again.

This afternoon we where boar sweeping when one of the trackers found my young dog Dixie in the woods. he was sitting and had a bleeding wound on the side of his back. He could stand up anymore and was full with pain. after i brought him to the car and we examined him, we found out he broke his back. We decided to let him go to terrierheaven. It was his 3rd real boarhunt, and he was stil in progress, but yesterday he did a couple good actions on a big boar, sad that he can reach his full quality's anymore. He was a fine housemate to. Gonna mis him.

If you want a car that hold its price, you have to buy a Mercedes ML300 or something like that, they hold their price but you can buy 3 forresters for that money,(3 X 15 years=45 years of driving, without electronic faillures, and other "gadgets" from mercedes. ) dont kid your self mercedes ml270 dropped 20K in 3 years thats holding its price! Here in Belgium they do, to give you an idea, I just looked on second hand cars: M200d 98' (180000km) 10500 euro, M280SLC 91' (235000km)(!) 6500 euro, M300d 95' (80000km) 13800euro...
