    Guy's guy's, give Pipey a break! I think its his first terrier, he's very enthousiast about this dog, and yes it catched his first prey, a trespasser, a young sparrow! If this trespasser had been "just" a rat, or "just" a mouse, everyone should have been said: Well done, great...! Try to put things in the right context guy's, its absolute NOT the most stupid/barbarous pic/topic I have seen on this board.

    Go for a hw35, much more gun (andfun) for your money, and your kid can shoot it untill he's 15 or so. same power every time you break the barrel, in .177 much better then any crossman.

    Both my two hunting buddy's had a pcp, one a AAextra FAC, 1 month and he sold it again. He had a hw95fac first, sold it for the "AA project" but now he's on 95k again. AA extrafac, the most over-rated gun of the season 06-07, he told me

    2 days ago I made an option to a Lada Niva 17i with a gastank inside,5 years old 42500km Dinitrolled twice 3500 euro and mint condition ( and very economic):thumbs-up: Good enough for the next 5 seasons.

    Nice shot mate I think -for as far as I can see-, your gun is a slavia 631, good solid accurate guns made for SHORT range plinkin. Around 550fps so you better ALWAYS go for the head shot, not too far away from you, max <25 yards? very good starters gun. very popular in Belgium and the Netherlands becouse of the price/quality. muuuch better choice as any Gamo (sorry gamo owners, just my opinion )

    I should never use a crossman on a living animal mate, maybe starlings at ten yards yes :whistle: For a nice price you can find the HW95 in the gunstore, top trigger, accurate, power. I had one once, my very first gun, and still regret the day I sold it dont make that mistake once you have one.

    Point it, aim it, shoot it, easy as that. rabbits, ducks, geese (x2) rats ect ect no probs, very accurate Am i right in thinking they have just been bought out by air arms? if so than the answer to your question about sevice should be superb, as for manerfacture quality, cant fault it Could it be they are bought out by BROCOCK? couse that is what I read somewhere (forgot where I read it ) Who knows the real story?

    I always keep one pat indoor, and the other 2 outside kenneld. they where always fantastic friends for my 3 sons over the years, and never had one problem. always playing.

    Good guns mate, but I should go for a Brocock hunter, or Enigma hunter is a single shot 16 to 55 joule, available in synthetic, wooden and thumbhole. The Enigma is a 9 shotter, 16 to 30 joule, take down system. both with a quick fill adapter. MUCH cheaper as the HW. http://www.qsa-trading.nl/
