I have a few contacts in the Greyhound rescue world and i know i would get one with ease of these but i havnt really got a paticular breed in mind any dogs i get offered will all be considered on there own merit like...Head says something with a bit of chunk about it that i can have laugh with without bfear of it breaking but my heart says a greyhound again I just dont know....

To be honest TallyHo i have thought about a rescue center but i have found them to be well judgemental...u phone them up ask about a dog "Do u own a house with a garden,do you have a 6 foot fence" "Nope sorry but i can offer...." and it makes no bones with them

I have thought about a whippet a few times yeah They seem quite hard to get hold of though you dont really often see many wanting homes or for sale.

Well ive lived in a flat most of my life and always had a dog (mainly big ones) - all have been happy cared for and healthy and have always come first just cos i dont have a garden does not mean by any strech my dogs get less love and care than someone who does (to be honest they prob get more) Unfortuantly we dont all have money to splash out on houses with big yards where we can have kennels and things - some of us simply dont want houses with yards where we can have kennels...some of us are happier with finer things in life. But what i do have and what i can give is a f*****g good home t

Looking for a new lifelong pal after loosing my beloved Grey last Sunday...Was going to get another Greyhound but somehow it dosnt seem right..I am now starting to think there too delicate and hurt too easy and then its too much pain if you loose them young Not only that i wudnt mind something i have a bit of fun with throw a ball for ect maybe take for a bit of a run without fear that its going to get hurt - Was going to look into getting a lurcher pup to do a few daytime bunnys with but i dont drive (which would also be a problem distace wise when choosing a new dog) and wudnt be able to g

My god hes fantazing again Seriously though i find it total shit this because well ok dogs bark/howl...wudnt bother me one bit - what would bother me is loud music, swearing, shouting, fighting, chavs hanging about getting pissed up on bottles of stella the general chavvy lifestyle living next door to me (edited to say it dosnt live next door to me but if it did) These neighbours should sure as shit be thankful they only hear dogs bark now and again and also have a neighbour who is willing to apolagize and talk about it I agree go with the Skunk scent f**k the old coot.

Thank you ladies and gents - plan of action is...Im usually awake til break of day anyways (Insomniac) So...at the slightest sound im going to sneak round to Mums (next door flat - dosnt invovle going outdoors just through 2 doors in the block) and then get a look from her bedroom window and obviously if anyones there stay inside but bray on the window and then prob call cops. I know for a fact the B and B with its back to my block has CCTV which litrally points at my driveway - Might ask them if they picked owt dodgy up tomorrow. Bedroom light is staying on (as detterant)..Mobile phone st

OMG skycat thats awful....poor poor babys. We had a incedent with my old cob one day..was up on the stable yard watching her in the bottom field..bucking/rearing for no reason - which was VERY out of charecter.went down to check her to be on safe side and she had loads of wasps on her too only about 15/20 but still enough to caused her agony..you could see the evil little fuckers stinging away there backends going like the clappers trying to give it loads.I just opened the gate and let her bolt off through the middle field and she ran straight onto the yard when i eventually got upto the y

Thanks all. Razor went to sleep in my arms this morning,he went swiftley and troublefree. My last words to him was "thank you for everything Razor...i will always love you..please send me a sign you are happy now" ... after spending a good 10 mins stroking his body i stepped outside the vets - a dull horrid day then a ray of sun ..warm sun broke through the dark clouds..I just looked in amazment with tears stinging my eyes, then in front of that sun formed a cloud which i shit you not..swear to god was shaped as a greyhounds head!!!!! That'll be his sign hes content now - coming back to
