  1. God if i was on the other bus the thought of you in your thermal vest would get me all sexicted
  2. Ive just got ready to go out tonight for a few And instead of the usual "Girls Aloud" style outfits tits oe ass out - Ive opted to wear a jumper and jeans! I can also tell its winter because i have bronzing powder on my face to stop me looking like "winter rigomortis" And also because i am sat here shivering but that maybe due to the fact my boss will be in the pub tonight and i didnt turn up for work this morning! - Was too cold to get out of bed!!!! When do you know its offcially winter....?
  3. Whimps I've seen a different side of them to you FastDogz, many times I've witnessed greyhounds breaking a leg in a race and on a lot of occasions they will complete the race. Same with injuries,if something live or artificial gets up infront of them it doesn't matter to them if they are injured or not they will still take off after it. Have you ever been unfortunate enough to see two greyhounds fight or saw them after a fight, wimps they are not.I have unluckily been in that situation After I'd cleaned them up both dogs stood quietly as I stitched their cuts, not a hint of a TRAUMA.
  4. Nah then ive had a couple of ex track dogs as pets (not workers) both dead now R.I.P. Got a new one coming in New Year. I am experianced though in ex track dogs and personally i wudnt get one if you want it as a worker...I have heard lots of sucess storys about ex track dogs running the fields on fox and hare (pre ban) - but not a common story for the amount of time youd need to put in training it recall, jumping ect like its allready been said youd probably do best getting a lurcher pup. Not only this but Greyhounds are wimps its as simple as that! - The slightest cut oh my god TRAUMA N

  11. Ive never fed a dog before going lamping, and my thought would be you need a good kick op the arse if you did. Why single out lamping, how many coursing lads feed their dogs before a match, unless purposely 'stopping' them. I had a friend whose dog was running like shit, eventually found out his mother thought it was cruel not to feed it before going out, so she was, stopped her feeding it, and it got back to its best. Apart from running lurchers, Ive worked whippets, salukis and deerhounds. Deerhounds have always been noted for the problem of bloat/torsion, as this usually effects deep ch

Full respect to your sister ANother one happily homed - Nice to see
  13. Gastric Torsion/Bloat a real killer only 5% of dogs that develope this will survive most dogs are dead within hours...It always was my main paranioa ilness with my Greyhound boy (god rest his soul). Never ever feed before any exercise with a dog be it a fun run around your local park or run on the lamp it just isnt worth the risk. I was told also to give an hour after exercise before feeding too...never feed when straight back from a run due to panting and excess air build up in the guts. With Gastric Torsion/Bloat it is when your dog gets a full stomach and something as simple as jumping i
  14. Typical.... Great shot there some nice snakes
  15. Cheers for the info Bill Very flattered that you thought of me but unfortunatly my Mum who lives in the flat next door has aquired herself a Black and White Greyhound bitch (will make a post on her) who at the moment is quite hard work (so i am helping with training ect) and has proved herself to be unreliable with other dogs So unfortuantly the search is off for me. But again many thanks for thinking of me on this one! And huntsman - All the very best in finding a pet home for your bitch she sounds wonderful
  16. :clapping: Well done Fish! Darcy can we have more of ths game please i like it
  17. Molly i salute you They are GREAT pics and i just love your lurcher...absuloutly crackin Thanks for sharing would love to see more
  18. Quote Kevin. I will get a collar and might be able to find someone to go out with. Most people around here stopped hunting with terriers, some sheep farmers blind the fox with a light at night and shoot them. There is a gun club here but they do the same-just blind and shoot. I think a lot of foxes here are taken like this Kevin - This is known as lamping and you can also lamp with dogs but this is whole diffreant ball game :clapping: Well done you for taking a intrest as a begginer and making the time to ask questions and get your research this really is a greta place to be

    Die crow!

    Thats cracking :clapping:
  22. Quite true what has been said if your terrier goes to ground there really is no need to capture the fox and then send your terrier after it.. Once your terrier has got charlie bottled up nicley then you start to dig - and fox should be dispatched by a gun..Maybe pre ban by lurchers I dnt hunt and am no expert but please do lots of reasearch on this before you start..always use a good locator collar and like its been said becareful where you let dog goto ground..I wouldnt recommend sand dunes at all -this is only common sense that sand isnt that well strong an could collapse very easy. May
  23. Great to see The a future little huntsmaster there no doubt Top stuff! :clapping:
