I would have to agree with CP on this that we are indeed old lovers and he is in fact "pulling" my Plonker. However in his defence, he is well versed and travelled can be a font of knowledge. Dan, I love you

CP regarding the different breeding going into the Bull/stags your right in every aspect. legend has it, it first started in 1890's with the Borzoi/ Deerhound cross called "Timmy", which was put to various english and american Bull greyhounds. This is where the broken Jkts come from. Then before the war further breeders felt that the breed was a little too big and they wanted a tad more stamina so they added the Arabian Gazzele Hound. This produced some mean workers. Also somewhere back in the history prob after the second world war there was an injection of "Bulldog La fran

Hiya CP I wondered If you were going to pop up in this at all. I wouldn't go to far with the education bit. I checked my grammar and its appalling in my last post. lol You mentioning the Arabian Gazzele Hound takes me back to the 70's and 's when I was in the Middle East. I had this rather nice Black Range Rover that I would take out hare coursing with some Serious Arab Saluki Men. I was lucky enough to be given a few as gifts by some good friends. Now I just run my 11 month old deerhound cross bitch that is coming along lovely. I may even mate her to Bruce as I love him too. Th

First of all Dan I just want to say how GREAT I think you are, your amazing. On a slightly different note, I can see the value in both arguments. But,I feel that worker to worker is generally the best way forwards. If you can find another worker that has genuinely proved it self over and over again. The problem with people is pride. I own a Deerhound cross thats doing the biz each week, and I think she is the best ever in the world. But others that know better, rate her as a medium dog. Great or medium dogs are one thing and thats a discussion between friends. But, the real prob

Competley agree mate,, people who lamp and hunt all through the summer relly piss me off,, they tend to be the people with shit dogs that carnt catch f**k all in winter because there dogs are used to running easy quarry,, when they get behind the proper gear they aint got the minerals,, Its ok to go out now and then in summer to get some easy kills for a pup or young dog youre bringing on, and maybe the odd hour with the older dog to let some steam off on a very rare occasion,, but thats about it,, and even when bringing on a pup i try not to give them too much summer stuff

i dissagree on the women statement simoman no woman can do what we do,sorry you maybe saying this to get your leg over, but no way can a women control a 100lbs dog and get it of its quarry as quick as a man if you have a on top,and who the f-ck wants to be banged up with a women if it comes on top,get real fella I try and get out as much as possible. Summer, winter what ever the month or season. I do tend to run the whippet in the summer as the grounds a bit hard for the big-un. Had a cracking course the other night that I would have paid good money to see. Soon as the the grounds so

Hello, I have a dog cage, an old greyhound transporter up for sale. It measures 42" L x 34" W x 30"H. I had this in my berlingo and worked a treat. In good workingorder. The main bars are brown, not through rust but could do with a little hammerite just to tidy it up if your that fussed. £50 Southampton All the best, John

You see I had to get a new 4x4 on the cheap because my old one kept on getting stuck. Maybe i should have got some mud tyres for it. Nowt wrong with using the family car, better a bad night out, than a good night in. This is a pic of my last motor on a trip to Camber sands.

You are absolutly right we should all stick together. If moley wants me to wear some sort of harness/muzzle for him on a nights adventure Im happy to try anything once..........

Your right about the horn. Had a friend mention the same to me the other night . Maybe one day i will be able to upgrade to such a motor as yours. But, at present as you put it "a light dooging truck" is what it is and I need! I know a fella up north who does sprey jobs, might see if he will take a look for me. Not to sure though, because the last time I spoke to him about it he was on about having runs of paint down the side and alsorts. I would have to congratulate you on your little hareem of gimpets that jumped to your defence. You have them well trained.
