  1. out of interest, do you work terriers? lurchers? if so, what do you work them to? Also, whats your view on the foreigners killing good size carp? yes i work two laguna whippets in the winter and also do a bit of longnetting and ferreting, then shooting in the summer months. i dont believe they should be taking anything from the river or ponds, all i can see them doing apart from a few exceptions is stripping the country altogether and putting nothing back they definatley need stopping and your view on driven hare shoots is? shooting what and with what in the summer months?? th

  4. really interesting points from some, i think people should really look into things before stating there point of view. how do you comment on something you no nothing about, were all hunters on here and dont really think we should be slating what people are doing perhaps take the time to have a read up on stuff instead
  5. And why is that? because im an eel fisherman and struggle to get a few at the best of times. As has already been said, their life is hard enough as it is when trying to return to our rivers. Same as me then for fishing for them , it is now an offence for anybody that catches 1 on rod and line to kill it . Long live Anguilla Anguilla where do you fish for them buddy? do you catch many? anything good? best night ive had,(a 36hr session) is 14 which is outstanding for around here, biggest of that was around 4lb BUT ive another spot, on the thames, rarely get over 2

As has already been said, their life is hard enough as it is when trying to return to our rivers. how narrow minded its people like us elvermen that allow you to fish for eels, if anything eeling should be banned as your stopping them from breeding, 100% of elvering taken to the elver station are for restocking there are no exports for food.....

  18. Hi i have been training my dog from the minute i got him, just basic commands to begin with working my way up gently. He has been watching experianced dogs run for about five months before i finally let him have a go, he done everything perfectly and has been out three times now running his self. The last trip we had he caught five with only one miss before i called it a night as im not willin to push him to hard although he was gaggin to run again. Any views or advise you have on this are welcome wearney.
