    he was not even local he had the wrong atitude and personaly if i let him get away with it he would have been back with his mates and getting pissed along with it. and atleast if he was not so blatent it would not have been so bad. i no a guy that has been poaching one field for years with a dog and never been caught. reason being he studyed the surrounding made notes of when the farmer was going to be out or away and when he would be back so that bought him a window to go on get a few and get home befor any one was aware of him being there. a poacher like that i respect not some scummy twat t

    i did not grass him up and no i have not strayed from my permission i dont need to my permissions are for me to take what i want not to control or reduce the numbers as to no need to poach when i only take what i need either for the table or the ferrets. only one of my shoots i have to reduce or wipe out numbers but thats rats rooks and ferrels. not rabbits

    i dint call the police the land owner did if the police wernt involved i would have let him have it full on. and they smks are terrible apart form the qb78 i tuned one up to fac 27.3ftlb bulk filled and was stupidly accuret and yes i have a FAC would not use a smk springer tho. altho i am a springer man my self.

    Nice one mate its very hard getting permission and once you've got it some peaple think they can just go and nick it off you took me the best part of 2 years to get that shoot. was only because i did the land owner a hell of a big faver that he conciderd me having the shoot

    i went out to go shoot a rabbit for my ferret erlier on and come acros a guy walking round my shoot with a air rifle. so i went up to him and said what do you think you are doing? he replyed what does it f*****g look like. so i said you are not ment to be here im the only one with permision. he said so you cant prove i dont have permision. so i said lets see you permission slip then he said i dont have one so i phoned the land owner up and asked if there was any one elce aloud to shoot he said no so i told him i caught a poacher and he said he would contact the police so i hung up and said

    will still have to keep a eye on him if he dnt get any better he will have to go back for blood tests goos thing is his eyes are still sparkying and when i push his gums they go pink again and he has a pink nose so his oxagen levels are fine and he is not de hydrated

    i was reading in this weeks countrymans weekly about a old boy ages 90 that is still ferreting and i managed to find the video the articul was bassed on what a legend 90 years old and still ferreting

    hi he has only resontly come off ferret food as the place i get it does not have any in stock and he wonte eat rabbit but im going to try any ways thanks

    i dont no if he was vaccinated as he was a resue ferret. i just come from the vets she gave him a injection she thinks he has a inflamed bowel. i have to keep a eye on him and see if he gets any better i have been told to give him some scrambled egg and some biscuts dry and some biscuts either mixxed with egg or water so he has a bit of choice. on a good note he is not dehydrated and his oxagen levels are fine. i was not going to work him but its not the point all my animals workers or not get treated the same and no better. thank you for the help and replys guys i much apreciate it. after

    i have him booked into the vets at 3pm today am being charged 25 pound just for them to look at him but at the end of the day if they can make him better or put him to sleep i think its kinder than me sticking a pellet in him and to those of you im not a anti i want wats best for my animals! thanks for your help rolfe i appreciate it

    Do you have any idea how old it is?, and what have you been feeding it on etc. if it is a youngish ferret i would be inclined to let the vet take a look at it........but it is an expensive exercise and the outcome is not guaranteed to be favourable. i was told when i got him he was around 1yr old i been feeding him james well beloved ferret biscuts till a few weeks ago then started to feed him cat biscuts. he dont eat rabbit or nouthing either he was eating fine till 4 or 5 days ago and was drinking fine i had to force him to take a drink yesterday

    i have a resued ferret that i have had for about 7 or so weeks and he was bubbly and always running about when i went to the cage. now he just sleeps he is loosing wait his poo is like a mukusi diarear he is not eating or drinking and i think he is shivering can some one help me i dont no what is wrong with him thanks clabby

    its stupid the owners have oviesly no time to train the dogs and after they take the dogs off steroids they will reduce to mush they wont have any proper natural built up mussel. plenty road walking would build them up better tho it mite take longer
