  3. I am selling my SMK 19 air rifle. Bought in back in November and not really used it so want to sell it. I bought it brand new for £140.00. Bought the scope for about £40. Not sure what model the scope is as not got the box for it. It is fully zeroed. I will be selling it with a £25 gun slip and a nearly full tin of .22 pellets. This rifle is good for a beginner. IT IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO KILL CLEANLY. I want £140 picked up only, or will meet within reason. I have attached a website address which will give you more details. I am in Dursley, Gloucestershire http://www.ronniesunshines.com/

  7. Any one else had problems with British Gas? They have missed 2 appointments with us. we rang them. Engineer rang us saying he is on his way, 2 hours later, no show. Rang British gas and they denied they said he is on his way. And now got to wait another week for them to come out. The woman said she will put in for compensation for us as they should not miss more than 2 appointments. Any one else had experience with them? ATB Mike
  8. depends how close you put it to your animals. When I bought my heat lamp it gave a rough guide of how far away it should be for the right temp. Get your self a thermometer and give it a go. ATB Mike

  20. I agree it all comes down to personal experience and calibre of the ferrets etc. But I was say one ferret to 10-20 holes is a good ratio. Sorry Selsey lamper. Didn't realise your the ferret guru mate. If you have nothing constructive to say then donn't say anything. ATB Mike
  21. Hi, I hope everyone is enjoying the weather. shame it's a bit hard to run the dogs my way. Quick question, how many ferrets do you work in ration to how many holes there are. I only ask after having a little think that someone must have worked out a good ratio. I know it also depends on how deep the burrow is etc, but just want to get a rough idea of weather people flood the warren with ferrets or not? ATB Mike
  22. If you want a rabbiting dog get a nice collie x grey or whippet. Depending on the size of your ground, depends what cross you want, but you can't go wrong with a collie cross. Don't rush into buying a dog either. Wait and get some permission first and then get a feel for it. I am just over the bridge if you drive and fancy a day out some time. ATB Mike
  23. HUH!!! a mod text talking!!!! tut tut tut ATB Mike
