    Oh I agree 45ft with a 6mm steel would not be effective enough. But I will only be using them for close enough range. I get plenty of woodys in my garden so max shot would be 20ft. I agree that lighter ammo will not be great at any range other than close range. ATB Mike

    Yes you are right they are just lurchers. But say if it is 75% whippet, you will have rough idea of what size it will be etc. Saying its just a lurcher could vary a lot from a 19inch beddy whippet to a 30inch deerhound x But yes your right they are just lurchers. ATB Mike

    I have 12mm for rabbits etc, but i'm sure 6mm will do enough damage at close enough range with pigeon. ATB Mike

    Just on ebay looking at catapult ammo and came across this. Very cheap I thought. I have ordered some. I will let you know how I get on with them.     REME all the way mate. I was in the REME for 5 years as a recovery mechanic. Personally this was a good trade to do as you can walk straight into civvi street with the qualifications you get. But personally I would become vehicle mechanic class B, which is wheeled vehicles instead of tracked. And you will have a very good footing to get a mechanic job. But if you want to be a plumber then go Royal engineers but like has been said, you will not do much plumbing if Im honest with you. ATB Mike

    Just had a thought about adverts. Dont they just bloody annoy you. Would you pay more on your tv license to get rid of adverts on ITV, channel 4,sky etc. I know I bloody would, and if you want to watch adverts then watch the shopping channels. I understand that TV companies bring in millions from adverts but hey I can dream can't I? Adverts are the bane of my life. ATB Mike
