  1. Very drawn out noisy process. Why not simply shoot the badger and get it done with. Little bit mean on the poor badger. And on a lighter night, did anyone see what come up at the end of the second video? ATB Mike
  2. I agree with super sam. They are all just playing. The ferrets will quite simply bite the pup, if they was not happy with the situation. Keep supervising them, but by the sounds of things, they are getting on fine. Also maybe a plate of lacto free milk will bring them together. ATB Mike
  3. Vicks vapo rub works a treat to stop them chewing and also anything citrusy so maybe rub oranges and lemons. You can also buy some anti chew spray. http://www.pet-supply-store.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=Johnsons_Anti_Chew_Spray_Aerosol_150ml_770064 ATB Mike
  4. I love albino colouring. Easy to see above ground then. ATB mike
  5. Just wondering how you plan to dispatch the fox, once it is in the net as you don't have a gun and your terrier will still be underground? ATB Mike
  6. hi, I have been on this site for over a year now and I don't actual think I have put pictures of my dogs up. Well here they are. This is my collie whippet when he was about 7-8 months old. This is my collie bull greyhound, probably about a year in the picture This is my new pup feeding with the ferrets. He is deer/grey/beardie And one more picture of my collie whippet. I hope you like my pictures. Plenty more to come, now I have worked out how to reduce the size. Will take some recent ones soon. ATB Mike
  7. Hi everyone, Just thought I would add some photos of my new pup meeting the ferrets. I believe that its good to start pups young with ferrets. This pup is coming up to 7weeks now. What are peoples opinions about introducing pups to ferrets? ATB Mike
  8. Keep him on the lead. As soon as he shows the animal interest, show him that it's not acceptable. Keep doing this until you are 100% that he won't got for them. he needs to know that is not acceptable at all!!! ATB Mike
  9. I was conservatives and I said that I didn't want foreign people, ATB Mike
  10. Don't keep us waiting!!!! ATB Mike
  11. Some "lurcher men" just don't have a clue. They don't think about the future. When it comes to winter I wonder whose ground they will be poaching as theres wont have a rabbit on it. ATB Mike
  12. Now that you have said, it makes perfect sense. I have just giving him a duvet to lie on. lets see if it goes down. Cheers Moonlighter ATB Mike

  16. Hi, I have a 10month old collie whippet and he has got what I think is water on the knee. He first had it on his left knee and the vet said it is either water on the knee or a worm so I have wormed him and it cleared up. It has now appeared on his other knee which makes me think it is not a worm. Also thought it could be grass seed, but its very watery. Not fleshy at all, just a ball of water. Is it just water on the knee. It's not causing him any pain at all and he not bothered about it. I personally think he is fine and it will just go. What do you think? ATB Mike
  17. Well I never knew that. I never knew that they used it for young dogs. ATB Mike
  18. I have done my maths and I think it is 62.5% greyhound and 37.5% bull. Which makes it what your mate said roughly. ATB Mike
  19. I am not really any good at maths but I think I have to agree with your mate. My rough calculations have worked out that there will be more greyhound than bull. But not sure how much. ATB Mike
  20. I am wondering why you do not trust ebay? With ebay you are covered by there insurance and if you pay by pay pal you have even more insurance. ATB Mike
  21. kevin, that is aweful. I can't believe that the judge threw it out. How can they justify that. Surely there must have been a description of the "dangerous dog" next door. Its bloody crazy how they get away with it. There time will come. ATB Mike
  22. I am in Gloucestershire and looking to borrow a Rotavator. any one got one that I could borrow or maybe even rent off them for a day or two. Mods feel free to move this. Not sure weather to put this here on in the wanted section. ATB Mike
  23. Pasta is also a good thing I find with my pup to help him put weight on. To keep the weight on the best thing to use in lamb breast. Cheap enough to buy from the butchers mate. ATB Mike
  24. Cheers Ian. I was crawling up the walls. If I didn't have the hunting life forum, I would have had to actually go hunting!! :whistling:
