    hows it going lads was out the week end with for a moouch with a few of the lads my mates big patt entered a big old earth he kept going in and out could nt seem to be able to fit were he wanted so we tryed my narrow jrt rooney he went straight to were the patt had been trying to get hes only light but some times things hes a pit bull we found him up the bank at about 5 foot and got stuck into getting him out we broke through to him going mental with a tough oppoent giving hin a hammering we got him out well smashed up thats him finished for the season hope to get some pic s of it up this wee

    better off with a rough coat but thats my preferance if it works bald or hairy it still works

    depends on how much work its done and how much punishment the dog is willing to take i think the earlier they start the earlier they jack my mate has a 6 year old still working but hes harder than most and has 5 years of hard diggen

    i changed his food this week he ll get pasta rice and chicken i got some camrosa ointment see if it helps his teeth are in a bad way aswell hopefully i can sort it i like this dog

    the dog has suffered much worst damage in the past,last year he had 17 porcupine thorns in his muzzle and shoulders and still get the job done. something similar happened to me the dog found in a tough spot to dig the quarry was hard got him self in a thight spot behind a big rock my dog took a bit of a hiding as he could fit behind the rock with him he came out after 40 mins so we entered a more experainced dog which just sounded at it until we dug down to move the rock then he got stuck in two weeks later i dug two with my dog theres a different dog for every hole he s still young and it

    alright lads hows it going i have a problem with my russsell every time he works he gets some sort of break out on his coat there like open sores i clean him disinfect wounds straight away after the digs but it still happens and he always gets an infection i have given him ivomec injections in the past and they worked but they dont work any more he s nearly fully white in colour i heard white dogs are more prone to this type of thing i ve had him to the vet loads of times and took skin scrapes still could nt find the cause just wondering has any one else incountered this problem

    alright lads hows it going heres my problem i have a pat hes nearly two he started work this year a couple of bolts and middle of the road digs in straight forward earths last week i entered him he found but the earth was half flood he bottled it up in the freezing water they went at it we started to dig half hour later he came out it was a tough spot for a fairly inexperianced dog we later dug to it with a more experienced dog that sounded at it not mixing it hes my first working terrier is there any hope for him any advice is appriciated

    just wondering does any body out there know much about pudelpointers i read an article about them .they sound like good stuff just want to hear from someone with first hand experance of the dogs

    he bolted one from the same earth a big pat could nt fit and he could after the bolt the russell rentered and found i think he try s to grab and rattle but he s a bit light to hold them only about 12 lbs
