Iam looking for a beddy whippet for lampin. im not jumping on the bandwagon after seeing the other post, i now have room in my kennel and am seriously considering does anyone on here breed or knows who breeds them? im am in ireland, and will be very grateful for any replys.cheers

Fox Hole/Badger Holes ... How do you tell?

normally theres loose hairs outside the hole. fox is of corse red,badger will be wirey start white and go to grey black with a split end! -
From what ive heard the patterdale terrier is named after the station from which they were sold from in cumbria. the fell is a patterdale that was crossed with other breeds to make it harder. most people that no their digging stuff will no that they are diferent in temperment and apperance.

everyone has their own opinion i have a big hardy 12month old black fell bitch thats raring to go. im going to take her to digs and tease her for a couple of months then come dec,jan il let her to ground. god help the fox she comes against! she'l hit it like an atomic bomb! anyway its up to you. everyone has there own opinion. from what ive seen too much digs at once will sour a dog. good luck!
