    Following the hounds is not shop. I can not find several a foxes in one day. But my grey will be able to catсh several a foxes in one day. Fox it is easy. But some greys are afraid of fox, but in general fox it is easy.

    thanks for the answer. my dog kills a fox alone (face to face). He is very very fierce. I will tell story. One day I went to hunt with one greyhound. We was passing 5 kilometres, a hare got up. He couldn't catch this hare. We went farther. When we had passed still more( 9 kilometres), a hare got up. And grey catch this hare. Speed depends on blood, stamina is quality, which can train.     stamina is training. For example, before hunting season my dogs run 7-15 kilometres every day for two weeks. This distance dogs go at a jog trot.

    My english is poor. I can not give a detailed account. But in our country is very important speed on hunting. That's why people import grey(TOP 10). I don't know, but I suppose, chabin gave link on hunting in Russia. May be competition with free and wild hare.

    As a matter of fact at the moment people import dogs from UK. That's why I don't think that there are different appearance. At the moment almost all greyhounds have foreign blood. I suppose there is different in conditions of life. Many hunters remove dogs, which can not catch a hare.

    I respect your dogs and hare. But speeds of hare and dogs is not fast. In Russia this dogs don't have chances. I understood, in your conditions such dogs is successful. But GOOD HUNTING grey catches more quickly and more effective.

    I suppose , Tazi can catch only white hare. But I am not sure. People try,but....White hare lives in nothern part of Russia.

But if it is done by ordinary hunter, good results will not be achieved. In first generation dogs can be good hunters, but next generation will be bad. It will be no breed, it is mongrel. In Russia cross dogs(mix) is NOT permited for hunting competition.

    Most likely pure tazi don`t catch a hare in Russia. Greyhounds don't have competition. Greyhounds on hunting are best. I follow the results of different breeds of dog.

This words I wrote to the hunter from UK. When I had learnt about ban of hunting with dogs in UK, I was shocked. I have several greyhounds and one whippet. I can tell this breeds of dog are innate hunters. I like this breeds. In Russia there are many excellent greyhounds which catch a hares and a foxes, but many dogs can not catch hares, they catch up with a hare, but they can not catch.
