I think that its daft this closed cert business. As mentioned before, you are either trustworthy or not? The FEO isn't going to be stood next to you, making sure that you aren't pointing it towards the farmers house on the other side iof the hedge, when you squeeze that shot off. Still, just another hoop that we have to jump through, no sense in rocking the boat I suppose, just irritating. lol MM

How has everybody over looked the superb pistols on offer from Sig Sauer, p226, 228, 229? Fantastic pistols, accurate, reliable and really easy to learn to use. For me, it would be a Sig every time given the choice. Obviously, as with any firearm, only as accurate as the hands they are in. Hi Adam, I'm sorry to tell you that the guys at Hereford and at Poole havent used the high power for many years now, they tend to use Sigs now, obviously task dependant though. The high power did do a fairly good job but just better, more modern things on the market now. Cheers, Paul.

Hi mate, I haven't fired it in .223 but have fired the .308. I thought it was a neat piece of kit and it shot nice and true even after quite a few rounds through it on the range. Barrel design ensured that it cooled quickly. One thing that I wasn't taken with was the integral bi-pod legs. They just felt flimsy. I like to put a bit of forwards pressure onto the legs if taking a prone firing position but with this design i found i couldnt as they would just try and close. Horses for courses I suppose. Having said all of that I only had the rifle on a range and not out in the field an
