    i have a 17month old whippet who i keep realy fit with 2 good walks a day and some mooching dog is in great condition towards the end of last season he had 23 rabbits and would have kept going only for lamp went dead on me ud rearly see d dog pant.whippets have a great drive for work when fit and there game as hell mine wil hit cover after a rabbit like a bull.wll get pics of him and d rest of my dogs during d week.

    i also like running my dogs 2 get them fit u cant beat it but i also do road work 2 keep there pads tough and nails down and get them up on there toes then your dogs will be ready for a good seasons work

    have been shot at just warning shots thou.was chased by a farmer in his 4x4 threw 2 fields he cornerd me and my brother in a ditch he then got out with a batten gave my brother a belt in the arm i caught it and he ended up a lot worse for wear then us.he did break my brothers arm thou.

    which ever 1 u choose ul get a dog with a lot of heart thats for sure.my mate had a beddy/whippet years back was only a wee dog at 17 inches but what a dog he used 2 ferret bush lamp and we often dug 2 a terrier on a fox only 2 find him there asswell doubled up on the fox.

    get it used 2 u now while its young no good haveing it locked up in a kennell start working on recall sit stay 2 retrive do it now while young alot easier 2 train all these things will prepare your dog for its working life atb
