    WHEN MY 2 WERE PUPS I JUST BROUGHT THEM FOR WALKS AT THE CRACK OF DAWN WHEN ALOT OF RABBITS R STILL OUT AND ABOUT SHE WILL CHASE THEM 2 GROUND AND GET USED 2 THERE SCENT AND THE REST WILL JUST COME NATURAL IT WORKED FOR ME AND MY WHIPPET IS THE BEST DOG I EVER HAD FOR IF HE MARKS THERES RABBITS THERE.YOUR BICH HAS COLLIE IN HER SO U SHOULD BE OK AS THERE GOOD MARKERS.

    HOWS IT GOING MATE I USE MY WHIPPET AND MY SAULKI/WHIPPET/GREY FOR LAMPING AND FERRETING AND EVERY THING ELSE ANYWAY.THEY SHOULD MARK MY WHIPPET IS AN EXELLENT MARKER HAS A GREAT NOSE BUT HE STAYS VERY CLOSE 2 DITCH AND FOLLOWS THE FERRETS UP AND DOWN THE DITCH AND CATCHES ALOT OF RABBITS IN THE FIRST FEW FEET OF THE BOLT BUT HE MISSES ALOT 2 IF YOUR ONLY RUNNING 1 DOG 2 FERRETS AT A TIME HE WILL BE FOLLOWING 1 AND THE OTHER WILL BOLT 1 A COUPLE OF YARDS AWAY AND HELL HAVE NO CHANCE OF CATCHING IT.WHERE MY SAULKI CROSS BITCH STAYS ABOUT TEN FEET BACK FROM THE DITCH AND WATCHES EVERYTHING AND S

    my mate has a bitch shes a 3/4 whippet 1/4 collie very like woodys bitch same colour same markings shes a bit heavier set thou great rabbit bitch very soft mouthed real clever bitch have pics of her but i cant load them on here as useless on me laptop.some nice dogs there lads all the best with them next season.ATB MC.

    i keep my fella outside and he has no trouble in bad weather when hunting cause he is used 2 it.my mate keep his bitch inside and when hunting in bad weather she shivers a lot so id say keep him outside in a nice box with a rubber matt and leave him get used 2 the weather and u should have no probs.atb MC

    every 1 is diffrent mate i do alot of bushing aswell mate and 9 times out of 10 they wont be able 2 retrive there catch once the terriers get ahold of the rabbit but like i said when there lamping 1 dog at a time as soon as they catch straight back 2 hand.atb

    i use my two when ferreting cause i run 2 ferrets at a time and i dont use nets i usally do ditches and will have 1 on each side.if im doing grounders il still bring the 2 they might have a scuffle over the odd rabbit but usally which ever 1 gets it retrives it but i really dont mind cause when there lamping there retrives r spot on and theres where it really counts for me.

    thats 1 fine trout bet he put up a hell of a fight.my biggest brownie is gust over 4pound.sea trout 7 1/2 and what a fight it was must of been playing him for 15 mins as i only had 4 pound line up.

    good catch bird no what u mean.would have loved 2 go out myself last nite had great weather for it had 2 leave it thou got a load of young bout a month back dont want 2 spoil my premision for next season.you get any young in them rabbits yet.

    whippets r good rabbit dogs i have 1 my self but i have a saluki/whippet/grey asswell and she is absoultly dynamite on rabbits best bitch iv ever owend she has all so taken a fox and 5 big rabbits out of 6 runs not bad for her first season have high hopes for this bitch.
