    went for a walk today with the dogs local 2 do a bit of bushing as it was nice and cool for a change. not much rabbits about this place but the terriers worked there hearts out and got a good few hunts 2.tried 2 get a few pics of them working the cover but f**k me its hard. the team fawn bitch saluki/whippet/1/8 irish terrier 24tts brindle/white dog ikc reg whipeet 22tts 2 ruussels and a border/lakey ATB MC.

    saluki blood all the way mate wouldnt get another lurcher unless it had at least half saluki in it they always seem 2 amaze me in the field.

    dont bring terriers ferreting no more they stop rabbits from bolting as much. from running up and down the ditch the minute they here a bolt sticking there heads up burrows missing the rabbits and then u have 2 dig them out cause they wont bolt.keep my terriers for bushing and the odd dig now.just bring the lurchers ferreting and get alot more bolts as theres no noise around the ditch and they fly out.

    we use about 8 r 9 terriers between the 3 of us but the land we hunt is full of cover and big breaks get some great sport there.

    i use 2 russells and a border/lakey. bread the border/lakey 2 my russell bitch pups are crakers 7 weeks old now have high expectations for them.not the best pic will get some better ones up when i bring them for a walk 2morow

    bread a litter of terriers kept four between me and my mates and the other four were given away free 2 good working homes which i think is the most important thing.

    I watched him do this coyote and another one that day within 5 minutes of each other. This particular coyote didnt make it 200 yards from the road and he had it dead within bout 5 minutes of me gettin there. The next one he killed on the other side of the section across another road and it was about a half mile catch and the coyote was all but dead when we got there. It did take him about 3 or 4 trips though before he got it throated. Like I Doc says, the coyote is the master of the running fight. Stitch didnt have a mark on him though. thanks for that info i thought they would d

    ive just tryed him with one but he wouldnt eat it so i mixed it with abit of milk then he wolfed it down lol thats it mate i give mine 3 eggs twice a week just crack them in 2 the bowel and mix it with abit of milk they love it and get alot of protein in them.i allso give them tuna every now and again when there being worked hard plenty of protein in that.
