here you go bud the 2 together i find the best for trout there 7cm original there deadly.I use the countdown version in deep rivers or if the current is strong to get them down to fish.
-
think there called European worm get them in any tackle shop.i just freeline them running them threw any pools lies i think a fish might be holding just use enough weight to keep worm down but moving along bottom.
-
its an original 7cm purple florescent its deadly for sea trout and brown trout salmon will hit it aswell, very good allrounder,if your fishing a deep river id go for the countdown version, will get a pic of it for you.
-

-
yea im lucky there only about 20 mins from me,and im parked in farmer's place on his land no 1 even no im there bar him.great to get out hopefully this lockdown dont last to much longer or they lift the travel to say 20 km from home once your not interacting with other people, stop people going out of there mind.
-
had a nice couple of hours on the river picked up few nice sea trout took 3 on rapala.and two on worm.

we normally dont let them run scent if we can,we hunt covers and try push them to lurchers or ground. but if charlie slips past us belive me they will follow as far as beagle probably not as fast over open ground but in covers bogs they are demons to hunt.use a fairly big springer as they tend to go to ground if they can.best of luck with litter.
-
from my experience they make a hell of a lot better dog to search cover and find charlie just a lot busier dog.only thing you migt lose is the tounge.friend of mine has 2 on at moment 10 months old genuine half cross springer beagle. both will hunt and find fox you wouldnt see many beagles do that at 10 months.1 has a great voice other is a bit screetchy both going to make great dogs have bags of potential.
-
if there brought up hunting fox from pups. they are real good dogs will search every inch of cover, will follow a line if scents good. better suited for finding and pushing out of covers thou for lurchers.had a good bitch before.seen a couple of good cockers work fox allso.
-
to true.have a bitch that is a very efficient dog to dispatch will strike anywhere once she has control she will move to throat.doesent allways play out that way when she comes against a strong fox will take a good bit of stick to get the job done.same thing when tired usually take a bit of stick as there after losing a bit of power strenght.i would have ? marks about any dog thats a fox dog thats clean if there single handed doing 30+ foxes a season they will get stick.
-
friend of mine had a beddy whippet when we were kids about 18 tts if there was a fox or badger to ground he was in like a train and would be up close to quarry amazed me where that dog could squeeze on to.game little dog with a heart of a lion.
