  1. he may well be a genuine sound bloke but thats not really helping me lamping at the mo its now nearly 12pm on friday and its been 13 days since i put the order in?? very poor show but i suppose i got another what say 4-5 hrs of delivery time left before he has ruined another weekend of lamping daz

  4. yer just down the road from me too ill pop in and have a look, like previously stated keens in aberkenfig seems to go out of its way lately to dis-associate with its customers so would be nice to go back to shopping from a shop instead of online daz

  9. hiya mate i got a niec 9 month old whippet too from bridgend would be interested in goin out trouble is not sure they are going to learn much off each other lol, took her out with the lamp again last night had a few chases but shes not quite got it yet ended up goin over on me ankle and coming home early without even my pride let alone me dinner but hey still interested in goin out soon though mucker daz
  10. ah spoke to him today lads he was indeed on his way up to the midland fair and he said that he was out of stock in the lamps and i wont get it till the end of NEXT week??? hmmm on his way to his stall in one of the biggest game fairs and has no lamps for sale??? waiting 2 weeks for a lamp i had planned to go out this weekend too needless to say i wont be bothering with johnsons field sports again lads poor showing in my opinion daz

  14. yo lads/ladies has anyone ever bought anything off here as i ordered a lamp from here on sunday and it still hasnt arrived yet (thur) http://www.field-sports.co.uk/ kinda disappointed cos i wanted it for the weekend further still theres not a number on the website but i rang 118118 and have got one now but its answer machine all the time. will keep u updated on my success daz
  15. ive had mine off the lead since i had her (7 weeks) and for the first few weeks like previously stated she didnt leave my side (kept treading on her by accident) but i trained her by havin a tube of treats and shaking them in the house/when im out with her/all the time really and she learnt in about 2 days that that means food so then i started taking the whistle out and shaking the tube and whistling straight after and withing much less than a week she was comin back no problems, a kinda long winded way of doin it i know but it worked there is a woman who lives by me that has a whippet whos
  16. right heres the story lads i was only allowed to get a dog as long as we didn't need get rid of the family cats and it could be treated like a pet (in the house etc) so i gave in (mrs is a veggie blah blah) so when she was a pup she was obviously inquisitive of the cats and they didnt like her and she was forever getting scratched on her nose, now she chases them first chance she gets but she runs by the side of them and just kinda sniffs them in mid flight (doesnt try picking them up etc) i take her out over the fields everyday somtimes with the lamp and she goes straight into hunt mode

  19. hiya lads first post yer my old man got one from a rescue kennel just to go out for walks with as his old jack russell passed on so he wanted sonthing that can walk a bit but he had given up hunting for about 15 years after doign it man and boy with guns/dogs/slingshots you name it, he got a nice 6 month old bull x greyhound bitch took her out and within a couple of walks she was catching them and bringing them back to him needless to say hes got the bug again now lol daz
