I remember as a kid in the 70s, being encouraged by my mother, city girl born and bred, to watch David Atten borough's 'Life On Earth' and 'Survival', a Sunday afternoon style show that showed the real life brutality of life and death on the African plains, etc. Life lessons, well learnt.

I had a few hours to spare whilst waiting for the boat last February.......saw a brown tourist sign for New Brighton Pavillion, so went to see what it was......wow.....I wasn't expecting to see such a lovely beach.......the dogs had a blast galloping up and down the sand Lovely place to watch the world go by.......will make a point of being early for the boat again in July.
