    Met a Neopolitan mastiff locally a few years ago. It was a mess...shuffling along with its eyes dropping and the smell of yeast from it.....it was pitiful really......

    the breeder is supposed to microchip them. you may aswell get them chipped yourself as its a tenner i think to change the address on the chip anyway.yea i know mate,,,just some won't want them done ,some will just a difficult call. i wouldn;t expect them done myselfmy vet had a bit of a hissy fit when i took my pup in for his first jab about it. i picked him up a day of six weeks old as he was booked in for his first jab the next day at 6 weeks old. i told her i asked for it not to be chipped as i didnt want it done until it was older, she didnt like it lolSome say do it later don't they,as th

    I love Glastonbury.....from the comfort of my sofa.....it is comfortable, dry, chilled drinks and snacks to hand, proper flushing toilet and close ups/sound on tele that give the impression that you are on stage with the performers.........that's well close enough for me.......

    Any reason it needs to be smooth coated? Surely that could be ruling out small for for purpose beddy/whippets etc?

    A good regular grooming.....use a furminator.....it takes out the dead topcoat and encourages new hair to come through

    'Men who go through their lives, blaming this or that breed, for their own shortcomings are fools.' Very true......a dog is a dog.......make of it the best......the handlers training ability, experience, patience and realistic expectations count for A LOT.....of successes and failures.

    Had a few pairs over the past 10 years or so. I would avoid the really thick ones, keep your big toe nails short and rinse them out by hand....avoid fabric conditioner.

    They don't look particularly 'high quality, show winning' specimens......however, they do look healthy! Enjoy they them for what they are....don't muck about too much with their water and don't overfeed them. I'm starting to miss mine now.....

    Definitely learned a lesson. Bloody anit's everywhere . Dogs are not only stole by antis..........if you value anything.....look after it. So you are saying leaving a dog outside a shop isn't looking after it... And therefore you don't value it? Would you leave your handbag/laptop/purse/child/item of value outside a shop? If you do, that's your decision. Personally, I wouldn't.

    So merle x merle in the breeding? and your point is ? i think you could be one of these people who havent a clue about merle , but are going to spout bullshit that you know nothing about You are, of course, entitled to think and say whatever you like ......however, perhaps anyone contemplating breeding,or indeed, more importantly, purchasing from a littler with merle x merle in the near heritage, ought to look into the potential outcome with regards to sight and hearing problems, not bullshit, but scientific fact........
