We have to make it so accessible for capable locals. When I started in the NHS, almost 40 years ago, the suggestion of nurses with tattoos was outrageous, now it is commonplace, along with single parents etc. Local people should be enabled as far as possible, so that we don't have to depend on foreign labour.

Local people should be very, very actively encouraged to train to fill these healthcare roles. Plenty of them sitting on benefits, lots of them with life skills and capability to perfectly fulfill the role. Wasting away on benefits should not be an easy option.

The sooner the people who live on the island of Ireland, north or south, acknowledge that the present threat to our way of life is much greater than the traditional 'them uns' 'yous ens' finger pointing the better. They need to open their eyes and really look at how the invasion is affecting the future of our nation, north or south.

Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner - hot or cold. I have this 3-4 times per week - any filling goes, my favourite is salmon, garden peas and red onion.

Got off a flight from Belfast to Heathrow late (10.30pm) Christmas Eve about 25 years ago.......the airport police were visibly patrolling with machine guns.......they did have tinsel wrapped round the barrels.....in keeping with the season.......but still........

Most foods are.....cheese, tomatoes, strawberries, Guinness.......room temperature allows the true flavour to be appreciated.......

I tried to put some photos on but due to being technology challenged it looks like they are on sideways...lol. Anyway, I have 4 tanks, each one 40 litres. Neocaridina shrimps...only about 1 inch in size, so snack size for most fish. I don't keep any fish now, only shrimps. A tank of reds, one of yellows, one of blues and a cull tank where any poorly coloured specimens retire to. The cull tank is the most populated. Each tank runs on a little sponge filter, the bioload of the shrimps is very light. Each week I change a coffee mug amount of water from each tank, using the water remove

Thanks for the explanation........fascinating. I'm running some low tech shrimp tanks at the minute....plant growth in them is crazy! I'm having to trim the growth weekly. Water from the tanks is used to water my tomato plants on the window sill.

How does the set up work? Does the water from the fish tank get pumped up to the plants?
