Sad outcome for the guy who got shot. However, over the years on this forum, I found it disconcerting the number of people who stated the would set fire to every house, barn, vehicle, animal, etc of any farmer/landowner who got in their way.

Went to support a local cafe......middle aged waitress arrives with the menu......could hardly speak with the smoke poisoned lungs coughing all over the table......ffs.....never again.....

Cheers! This is what I have at the minute, 5 man air tent. It's been good, but great to hear about the alternatives. The bivvys look handy, but good to hear about the condensation issues. The pop ups are not an option for me. Thanks for the advice.

This one? I'd be looking for something more substantial, i's only 1500 hydro head and anyways, tents like this have to be kneeled on to be wrestled into the bag again........i haven' the knees for that these days lol.....

Cheers.......that's the sort of thing I'm thinking of. Do the poles stay attached to it all the time or do you need to thread them through like tent poles every time you are setting it up?

I'm considering a new tent for occasional camping. Not hiking and carrying a tent, but one to set up beside the van. Something handy to put up and fairly waterproof. Has anyone tried the fishing bivvys from Go Outdoors etc? Any advantages to these over a regular tent?

We know what happens when a 100lb XL bully goes crazy......it's in the news headlines every week....people are killed and maimed. Nobody needs dogs like that, especially the wannabe gangsta ballbegs that seem to be desperate to be seen with them.

Just googled that hotel. Is it actually possible for members of the public to book a stay? I don't think I would fancy staying there? I would hate to book to stay there unknowingly.

She is a fabulous spokesperson on an outrageous situation. That bloke 'Lea Thomas' even in the women's changing room with his fully intact crown jewels swinging is a disgrace. He has no shame and neither do the jelly spine sport governing bodies who allow it to happen.

Those individuals may not be 'trans', they may have had the misfortune to be been born 'intersex' by nature......it does happen. However, they should not have been allowed to compete against 'real women'. It really is not fair to real women who dedicate their lives to train to this, or indeed, any level. Shame on the Olympics!
