  1. Thought they were suspect, back tommorrow!
  2. i think there is a cast joint yeah, there shite to be honest, dont fire correctly at all, i might take them back, problem is when you buy them theres a seal on the tub, like a medicine tub, what you pull off an break. I need to get myself some dome heads, might get the ones you say, do you buy them from the net?
  3. Has anyone ever used/seen these pellets, I bought this 500 tub for £6. If you look at the picture, the end of the pellet has a little bobble on it that points a different direction to the pellet itself. I'm currently picking the 'nobble' off with my nails before each shot, but its a pain. Surely this affects the aerodynamics of the pellet? Or does it not with it being so small?
  4. sneaked up on this one and got a headshot, about 15 yards!
  5. After the thread about not shooting stuff, it it might be worth some people having a look at this: http://f4bscale.worldonline.co.uk/quarry.htm Most will of seen it but here you go.
  6. i'm going to on pay day, saves scouting about in your pocket for a pellet. Going to get a barrel brace aswell dunno if it makes any difference but it does have a 'floating barrel'.
  7. does that mean you have to spin it around to the next pellet yourself?
  8. http://www.airgunbuyer.com/makeBig.asp?ID=2410&pic=0 these worth buying? anyone had any experiance with one or similar for different rifles? thinking of ordering one?
  9. well i ended up going anyway, only for an hour, luckly i set off when the rain had finished, just wet ground. got a wood pigeon and a crow. i think it actually helped that it had been raining as all the leafs were wet on the flooe and didn't rustle as bad. made sure the rifle was dry afterwards.
  10. anyone done it? advice for/against it? tips? I dont'l like the idea of the gun getting wet but surely wont harm it if i dry it when i get home?
  11. same thing happend to me a few weeks back, stalked a load of rabbits, got behind a tree, was just leaning round and ready to take aim, 'ring ring' - my dad rings me about summet and nowt. nevamind
  12. once sat out in an open field, smokng wacky backy years ago and a bird landed on a telephone wite about 6 million years away, aimed above it and it hit it! mate was gobsmacked!

  16. I've got an old rifle in my shed from ages ago that you load from the top, you turn a little lever and this opens the top of the barrel area just enough rom for you to drop your pellet in, then you turn it back round and cock it. The problem is theres a pellet stuck in the barrel, and because of the loading mechanism you cannot but anything down to clear them out as theres no gap at the other end, its a kid of 'L' shape, see my dodgy diagram:

  19. has anyone ever chopped some of the stock off an air rifle, i keep looking at and wondering if it would work like this: has anyone ever done this? It would effect accuracy and what else?
