My Bandogge just recovering from the same thing and its not the first time hes done it or that ive had exsperiences with the same thing. 3 out of the 4 times it healed with rest and antibiotics even though every time vets were positive because his size it would not heal without a op. This time he was on carprofen 100mg for 3 weeks. All i can say is, ifs its torn it can heal with rest and trearment if its snapped its a a op and months of rehab.
