  1. Im still weary when there hungary becuase the nips come from nowhere lol. But other than that i think bringing them up from young makes it far better to trust them fm
  2. Last year i tried my kits at 12 wks. They bolted one baby rabbit. But it was only a test run to see how they took to the job fm
  3. well i enjoyed them. Very informative!
  4. Aye thats all very well using a locator but when youve had enough waiting it dont stop the ferret from going deeper under ground so what happens when you have gotta dig him out? It will take you forever. I had to do it last year with my hob. In the end i left him there and went back for him next day. He was right as rain. Didnt lie up ever again though lol FM
  5. Its terrible how people are jumping onto this band waggon of selling pricey ferrets. I would only sell my ferrets for 200 quid if i didnt want rid o them cos i know no bugger will buy them for silly prices. In my local pet shop there were ferrets for sale for 50 quid!!! DEARY ME!!! I remember last year ferrets were going for a 5er....seems its gone up a 5her to most folk. FM
  6. Make sure u dont put him in with the jill for a few mnths after the operation as he can still fire bullets if you know [bANNED TEXT] i mean FM
  7. I have caught 8. Good way to spend your day. COME ON THE SEASON!!!
  8. Put vasoline on the ticks loads of it, that will suffocate them and they will drop off with in a few days without leaving any part of their body in so they wont regrow. As for frontline. maybe ur just unlucky its meant to be the best stuff. But like you say it could be fake better letting the vets know in case they aint been done! ATB FM
  9. Im wanting to know the same thing. i have bought these drops from the pet shop for roundworm and other parasites and it dont say anything about kits. FM
  10. hello mate i wudnt recamend straw as my or hay in the winter mounths as it will get fleas after a day or 2 the best beding for the summer is shreaded paper hope that helped mate Straw is perfectly fine, i was tort to use it at college for ferrets. Loads of it so they can bury into it. I dont like hay it holds too much dust. Shredded paper in summer pal and straw at winter. Ule have lovely snuggled in ferrets FM

  16. Nice kits pal. They will make a good team. Are they all jills? FM
  17. have they been castrated?, as castrated hob's (hoblets) can be left all year round with the jills, I have one hoblet with six jills in the court, another court has three hoblets, and one jill, all get on fine, but my vasectamised (snipped) hob, still needs to be kept seperate, as do all the intact hobs (all in individual cages) I keep my hobs seperate as they wont get on before they hace chewed chuncks from one another lol FM
  18. sounds like a phantom to me FM
  19. I love watchin the ratting video. Lol aye i rekon he is all talk, held up in front of a mean pitbulll...wottt!!?
  20. Cats are carnivores not herbivores or omnivores, same as a ferret. So how is veg soo bad for them when its put in cat food? FM
  21. See thats quite interesting to know. Didnt think it would make that much of a difference. My view is it's better feeding the ferrets cat food than nothing at all. Afterall a ferret and a cat eat the same prey out in the wild so they must have pretty much the same digestive system. All in all a ferret and any pet, dog, cat will be better on fresh game if it was possible to be fed to them everyday of the year. FM
  22. Lovely looking dogs. Nice happy ending for bruce boy fm
  23. Och well a pigeon is a good start lol Lovely looking dog. All the best with her FM
