  1. once traind in the "safe use " thats it,, city and guilds in playing with tabs ?? lol..it has its uses, i get asked to use it at a few places,,, not my cup of tea but i agree even tho i disagree,,,, its nasty stuff tho ,, it stinks on my kit and i dont like it, the germans used to shower the jews in they camps and as they did there were a few tabs droped in the shower area,,thats what they used to gas them with ,,, its nasty kit so be caerfull.
  2. why would they have the rights !!!! another case of people profiting from a profiter ,
  3. cost a factor moxy, but the fact that they need no tuning and they strong and very well made.
  4. yes i use them ,, they only six miles from me ,and can say i rate them above the rest.. i keep pluggin them as they really do not need any tuneing at all ,work straight from the box etc,and get big discounts if your a mole catcher etc... get one from amazon if your unsure,, but as far as tunnel traps go they out shine the others for me .
  5. yes ,lets have them all,, few racoons ,, some fisher ,coyote and few big cats to.. cant waite ,, better than the every day rabbit fox squirrel etc few brown bears be a nice change to..
  6. the .17 hornet looks an interesting round,, any views lads.
  7. depends on how they set up,, i could catch 100 live in a hundread catches or a 100 dead if i wanted .to catch dead foxes in live catch snares you either setting where they should not be set or the snares set wrong.
  8. there are some poor snares out there in gun shops, game supplies and field sports outlets colin as you know,, i get by with what i can make but i find the only use of the others is the wire to cut up and use on ground anchors
  9. hey john good on you. i got a few wax done traps, every thing seems to be a one dip one coat job here,, i dye mine with oak leaves and the last few weeks a waz dip.. paraffin hard wax ,,can get it few £a kilo.but remember i done 50 traps out of two kiloes,, so if they need redipping they dont use more.. just recycled whats on the trap
  10. reason why there looks like there more about in wales and maybe the south west is because there no nuts on the trees simple as.. there just ain't no nuts about this year..they always pulling nuts off the trees now to store for winter and in doing so would often stick to the hedgerows etc,, but they need to go further afield now, crossing roads into streets ,in the search of winter food hence giving the appearance that there more than there is.. numbers ain't increased its a case they working harder for food and going further to find it.
  11. the beauty of the body grip for me ,,and the reason Ive used them over the last few years is they versatility. you can set them most places , and can easily be adapted to suite any trapping situation you ever likely to come across.. when it comes to adding pans,, and i'm guilty of the same i think we over doing it a bit. nothing wrong with the wires as they are but man being man always looking for an improvement be it tunnels in what they may be set in or pans in what triggers them.. keep things simple i say, a pan can be added out of twigs, even bit of turf is trigger wires bent over and spl

  15. ive heard loads of people say they to fidley etc ,and yet lot find them so easy to use,, and if set correct no foul catches .
  16. i think body grips so versatile. can be deployed anywhere and in any situation, they are the sas of traps maybe unlike the dads army of the fenn.
