  1. steve as i explaind to you via pm,two traps set at an extender run would make one of them idle. mole only come from one way into extender runs so one trap will do the job. but if others are more confident useing two that fine.each to they own.
  2. ust set them side by side like all the others do.if it works do it .i think i do it my way tho chalkwarren,
  3. well chalkwarren in no way near being a master mole trapper, but there are master mole trappers on here who knows what im talking about, and when i said one trap, its one albano types on they own.
  4. well steve,i can get MY TRAPS to work in one direction if i want to.no big deal about it,just common sense.
  5. steve, you dont need to set them traps back to back to get a result.they can be used on they own and get a good catch rate. maybe our moles differ from yours in the way they use they tunnel system im not sure .and i have had loads in your type trap. know and never have had one draged down a tunnel.pity killgerm traps wasent so expencive tho.thank god i make my own.
  6. hi smithie. i tend to use a barrel trap at first, but do put the trap line types out a bit facing one way.also had a lot of moles in them when mole has came to the trap wrong way round.dont think you do need to use two if you set them out a bit .
  7. i got a 110 yard beach net for sale .its a trammel, tangle and gill net all in one. its fitted with a float line and number 3 lead line. legal net and ready to fish with. £ and byer must collect in s,wales .pm if interested.
  8. sorry ian . i was under the influence of some larger when i put this post on.so yes crap spelling but who cares lol
  9. nice set up there but please put a tunnel over it to keep some of the tits on here happy lol only joking .
  10. here a good way to use all them left over christmas nuts.put them on a body gripper bait trigger.i been using brazil nuts the last few weeks but works well with maze or even a few hasle nuts pre drilled on screwed on.get good results when there are lots of squirrels about.please add a wire tunnel of some sort tho as i do,pic was taken without tunnel just to show you the set up.nothing new about it just dont see others using it.
  11. the only paste i know about is what i do my teeth with.i was brought up with a abacuss not pcs.dident even have a calcalator wheen i was young.so for now i must say i dont know how to add a link
  12. send me a link please logun cheers sorry nod,i realy dont know how to put a link up.im not very good with computers
  13. few pro victors should do the trick
  14. Most zero their hmr between 100 and 130 to get the most from the flat trajectory, similar to the 50/60yd zero argument with .22subs. Don't worry about 200yds for a while that's a long way out for hmr. Best to stretch the distance out slowly. thank you.dont know what distances i will be shooting at.hard to tell the diff from 120 yards to 200 just by looking across a field.im not into all this balistic stuff and that.just need a good zero yardish average to get me results on the crows.
  15. hi lads found a new link on the web somewhere with a new design mole trap so it said.its a copy of the fenn lop trap. anyone else seen it ? cant find it now.
  16. thanks for that.so if zeroed at yards what groups would you expect at 200.i aint had the timeto try it out yet.most of my shots have been sub 100 yards at the mo.but withthe flat shooting the hmr delivers just thinking what would be the best distance to zero at.was told 130 yards ? not to sure tho
  17. out of interest lads, what would you say the ideal distance in yards to zero the hmr at to cover shots from say 40 to 200 yards out
