  1. hi lads we all get the odd filled mole trap.you know the score when they packed tight with soil.out of interest i get most plugged if useing scissor types. what do you think, and what would you say the best type of trap not to get packed.and please dont say they set in the wrong place as it happens to us all
  2. lantra do pest control courses to and they a reconised training sector .
  3. Bwaaaahahahahahaha! It's like a £300 lamp. It uses a light colour which is highly detectable to humans, unfortunately it's right in the sweet spot of most other mammals too. The batteries don't last long, and the laser diode doesn't like the cold. They're great for real long range stuff on a warm night, where a lamp would not give the reach and the prey aren't lamp shy. To compare it to proper NV is frankly asking to disappoint customers! thanks for the imput matt.
  4. hi all.any of you lads got a laser genetics nd3-50.my friend sent me a video of it last night.they says on the site its just like a true night vision bit of kit.any comments ?

  6. i would work for next to nothing than be sat at home watching tv.best to get two lower paid jobs than one good one i think.each to they own i guess.all this bollocks about £10 a mole is on farm land aint realistic.200 moles on a farm and you want the farmer to give you 2k .and the hour cost that some put on top.get real.thought plumbers were rip offs.the people who make a living out of full time mole catching charge a lot less than you may think they do.but they get on fine.
  7. wel the pros will get a lot of moles for far less than the others will. but the others will get a lot les moles.try asking a welsh hill farmer for £8 a mole.like some one said on here they be better off doing windows !.well at that price windows is all they have to do.charge what you want to.
  8. £1.50 a mole You must have folk queing up for your services at that price Logun........ i dont charge it rolf a friend of mine does.he gets paid fuel costs on top but £1.50 a mole.he does a lot of farms and always got 400 plus traps on the go at anyone time.he had just over 500 moles last week so at £1.50 each he aint doing bad out of it

  11. Those are not accurate prices for our traps. Yes our traps do wind up being kind of pricey by the time we make them here in California with expensive labor, then add shipping, import duties, and retail markup. But they aren't remotely close to L50 for a pair of traps. Not even close, and I just wanted to correct that. steve how the hel can you say they expencive to make when i can make the same for £2 a trap.i get my springs by the 100 at. the time.if i got 2ooo they would cost £o.95 each.hope before long there will be a new trap made in the uk for the mole trapers that cost a lot les

Not even close, and I just wanted to correct that. steve what i said is that in most mole sets you would put two traps in.ie duffer type.so the two traps becomes four traps if you set them back to back as you say they should be set.so steve tell me then what cost would someone have to pay to get four of your traps here in
  13. rolf,i would say the trap set up for stoats up on the moor and not mink.i dont think it matters what hight the tunnel is from the trap as long as the entrance is restricted in some way. The reason you only have the roof of the tunnel just high enough to allow the trap to fire unrestricted is that it minimises the chance of the target species being thrown clear from the closing trap jaws.......a thing that I have seen a few times when trapping rats. It can make all the difference between a clean kill and a foul catch. Rolfe. well thats fenn traps for you.thats why i dont use th

  15. the tunnel trap is the best trap that anyone can own.they tried and tested for years.i use them all the time . they have got they negative points tho.they freeze up.and that the only thing i can think that may hider them at times of cold weather.the albano type dont freze up.the trap line ones got they uses but as for a out and out mole catching trap you want go far wrong with a tunnel.cost is a factor to concider.you get four good tunnels for the price of a trap line, and if you set the trap line back to back as the inventor says you should that cost a fair bit.two traps in one set of mole wo
  16. seen some pest stop mole traps on the amazon site last week.sold by amazon and only £2.90 each.you aint got to tune these traps or very little anyway.they come ready to go.
  17. If you read the OP properly, you will see that the poster is worried about non-targets, as they know they are in the area. A snare in this situation would be totally irresponsible, and it is very poor to advise using them in this case. Cage trapping would allow for any non-targets caught to be released unharmed. Snares are great in the right circumstances, but not in this case.
  18. hi john, out of interest.is there something about the sako you dont like.
