On my lad it does cos its a collar with loop the peice of leather through and hold onto it but because he has a wide neck its tighton him if he pulls he chokes himself so stops pulling and soon realises how to behave.A load of folks we know use the ones your talking about i have a few here for other dogs as i feel theyre harder to get out of than a collar

Lol theres a gay lad round corner from me and flints fine till he opens his mouth hes really squeeky and she grumbles under her breath when he talks any other time she is fine lol.Its a little embarrassing

I just bang mine of the concrete steps holding the buckle parts of course and the dirt falls off lol.Never will i use anything else as they just work wonders nothing could ever come close.I use house collars now cos Storm got a bit of a baldy neck wearing his all the time and i still; need somethng to grab him if the door goes so he wears a lose crappy collar indoors and when we go out the ss collar goes on

Not if your dog is a puller for example and you need a slip lead to control them a few people i know use the rope slip leads for that very reason ive never really been caught right enough so never had to launch anything in the past.

Thats a strong boast almost perfect The black ones like the hulk when he starts he dislocated my shoulder months ago when he saw a fox and i didnt on the ice and i was like bambi on ice pmsl.Wasnt his fault just i wasnt paying attention.Flints a fruitcake but in the nicest ways shes a diamond in thehouse round kids people other dogs and cats etc as is he she is excellent outside where as he doesnt like the fact no one uses a dog lead round here so he gets muzzled to prevent any accidents.Out working the 2 of them make a great time together

Flint my bitch used to break the leather greyhound collars and various others we tried here.Got her a stronstuff one and shes never looked back will try get pics of Storm an flint with theirs on Storms is wider than hers cos hes got a longer neck but theyre truely amazing i get asked all the time where i got them

I can highly recommend strong stuffs collars etc my lurchers both wear them and no problems its the only collar my bitch hasnt wasted or broken

Id cut hisballs off and make him eat them then id leave him tied to a tree so all thewild dogs could have a ball with him come nightime.Regardless of what he used he made and arse of it and walked away leaving the dog to suffer in the heat for how long.Dog must have been totally and utterly petrified god only know what it thought when it was saved cos if i was that dog dont think id want humans near me

I use leather ones just now ones an old one others a fairly new one real leather and cost me £15 occassionally i use a bit of cord as well or stretch blue stuff i was given by a very good friend.The blue stuffs always in my pocket just incase if im going out on a planned trip i use the leather ones

Poor dog ffs but its amazing we got a dog through here who had her head smashed in with a metal bar or pole had her skull re contructed and wired together and she suffered no mental problems or neurological damage.Shes a great wee lurcher her new peeps love her to bits and shes never been a problem the other place she arrived here from said she didnt do other dogs never seen her yet show other dog agression the only thing she ever done here was tell a dog off for harassing her and she only barked in his face.I hope the c**t that did this loses all his limbs and has to life a long sad life

Cant remeber lots of forums have it up as a sticky just thought to post it here in case anyone goes up there off here.The more who know the better might just save a few dogs.Poor dogs must be something pretty strong if theyre dying within 20 minutes.

Some of the worst people i have met collecting dogs are from posh huge houses and people with loads of cash under their bed.They see the dog as a toy it can be replaced some of the folk with next to nothing have had dogds in great nick well fed and well cared for.Those who can afford to do so are the ones buying dogs dumping them and getting a new one when they mess up training the first one.

I think people have the right to know so they can avoid the dickhead in the future We warn people when were taking a dog to them if the fuel money isnt paid we dont leave the dog simple.We have all learned the hard way just hope the poor dog isnt being passed around

Well i want to save up and get one in the next few months give Storm some fun and flint loves lure coursing so does the terrier as well but shes not allowed now

They were originally bred for boar hunting and other big game That was long before the kc got hold of it though the way theyre bred nowadays theres not much worth having about them.Its a shame cos the old school ones were really nice dogs but as i said be prepared to be washing walls daily and re painting all the time nothings out of reach either and the vet bills when they get on a bit (example 5 years old Maybe 6)
