Maybe you should get your facts straight its the same pups Mum was a whippet and dad is a hancock x lurcher.Theyre now 6 and a half weeks old.As for money ive spent more than iwill ever recover getting mum sorted and making sure pups were in perfect health they eat james wellbeloved puppy at a rate of 15kg bag a week so no not in it for money funny enough and thats not counting whelpi and the cost of feeding mum and neutering her either

A scan for the whippet cost me £ i get a 25% discount and my vets really good to us doesnt charge for a lot of stuff etc.So no it wont be cheap but for about £20 they can consult and give the dog a feel and tell you if theres pups there or not the only thing they wont be able to tell you this way is size or how many

The whippet i have here was massive at 6 weeks although we didnt know how far on at the time.She was like a bag of worms with all the pups bouncing around i would imagine a lot hinges on the size of the dog etc and the breeding.Has she put on weight etc you get a discharge as well a week or two beforehand

No one gets in the way of my dogs ever im lucky Andy a very good friend of mine loves the hounds and for all he wasnt really into hunting mainly cos he had never done it or didnt know what it was perhaps is very keen on it now.He says himself its nice to see how the dogs actually enjoy it and yesterday we had them out for hours chasing things and we all had a ball was a great day dogs were content as well.As was said the key is finding the right person.I wont stop hunting or having my dogs just because someone else thinks i should that to me is my decision only

There no real way to tell for sure tbh either wait and in a week or two from now you can see the pups moving or go to a vet have them palpate and tell you if she is or not

Mine get minced chicken carcuss and lamb breast and i add biscuit usually james wellbeloved cos it seemed to keep the big lad a little calmer.In the winter they were getting either arden grange or skinners duck and rice supplemented with fresh meat.This year will be meat and some biscuit

Sometimes its the owner thats the problem.If you dont put the effort into the dog or the dog doesnt trust you then things dont go well.Well done on your mate for clearly putting the time into the dog and getting him back on track

I use a handwashwith silver in it works wonders it was on offer and i bought 18 bottles of it out of sainsburys lol that and antibacterial handgel afterwards.As for the jabs thing you dont have to take my advice but you would be risking the dog by introducing her before the second sets over with entirely up to you.I speak from experience after having kennel cough in the street neighbours dog took it still waked dog in street etc my lot got it then my mates dog got it and it ended up a whole shit load of people paying a vet.I let 2 of mine get over it but the old terrier was reall ill and requi

I wouldnt advise it shes not fully vaccinated yet so can still catch stuff and other dogs who are vaccinated can carry it to her.Me and mydad work with a lot of vets through pet ambulance and stuff and advice has always been keep them in till fully vaccinated.I wouldnt risk it myself as these diseases are expensive and the dog suffers badly and you have 2 dogs which is double the vet bill id keep her and him to the garden till shes fully done then you can start getting her out and about

Flint convinced us and a few vets till she got a scan she was actually caught and i racked my brains trying to work out how lol.She was huge she still produces milk as well to this day.As skycat says it might not happen but id get him done a its a royal pain if the dogs a whinger and sits al night whining and moaning

Yes why wouldnt i lol they dont get as much as id like id prefer to be out everynight but with kids as well and other dogs to think off im stuck in at the moment at least a few nights

Consistency here they get walked the same everyday unless something really important arises or something drastic happens.If they do the same everyday no matter how much you see results
