  1. i) I wasn’t asking for users on here to take me out, I was only asking for advice. ii) I am genuine, but obviously you all have already made your minds up about me. iii) It seems that people CAN’T just be interested anymore. I guess a 17 year old can’t really be into working dogs. iv) “If you are genuine Linda, It will all come together and you will meet people of a like mind at some point†~~ I agree with that and I look forward to the day I will get to witness a terrier with a job. On that note, thank you all for your help. apologies that this has upset so many, goodbye,
  2. For money. What really gets to me is that people are actually prepared to pay thousands for a poorly bred runt advertised as a rare, hypoallergenic chiweniedoodle. Sigh...
  3. I hope and I pray that your friend gets his dogs back. The RSPCA are so corrupt with no intention of helping those in real danger, that it makes me sick. Show a soppy ad on the tv, and MILLIONS are donating to an organization that will take your dogs (animals) away without any real evidence :realmad: Sorry this turned into a rant, I just can't stand them and PETA and any other "charity" run by brainwashed ar activists.
  4. I have no plans in adding another breed anytime soon, I just wanted to witness a terrier doing what it was bred to do, instead of spending it's entire life on a sofa. I own working dogs myself, and have grown around dogs with jobs.
  5. Apologies Terrie. Like I said, I have no first hand experience with working terriers, therefore I wasn’t aware that this was a strange question. Linda
  6. RE Terrie : I joined to ask this question. If you think that is a bit strange, then I apologise for thinking that this was the place to ask for advice. not everyone interested is going to be an “antiâ€, some of us are honestly interested in witnessing REAL WORK. Linda
  7. I see that now, but I am serious and will remain patient and continue looking for someone willing to take me out on a hunt. If it takes years, it takes years
  8. Okay, thanks, I have sent of for the book by Jocelyn Lucas and will look for others. I was just advised that the best way to get into working terriers would be to watch them in action and talk to owners. But i'll definatly do a lot of reading before I even think about it again.
  9. Hello all. I am not a terrier owner but I am very fond of them. I am very interested in witnessing a working terrier hunt. First of all, is one even allowed to spectate? How would I go about finding a hunt? Any links? Any advice, how ever small would be greatly appreciated as I have never witnessed a real working terrier before.
