Hi there gents, i`ve been using 117gr sierra sp boat tails for a while now with H4831sc powder and getting great results. The other day i went for some more bullet heads and can`t get anymore, also tried a few other places and found the same! So i`ve went and got 120 gr speer spitz sp boat tails and was wondering if anyone out there has experience with these and could recommend a good recipe? cheers T

If thats the one`s your on about that they shot 100 per year out of the population wont take long to get out of hand if it`s some guy that comes up a handful of times a year!

Hi there gents, does anyone in the forum shoot sika around the scottish borders as i`ve started seeing a few and shooting them and was wondering why they are showing there face now as i`ve shot the same ground for nearly 20 year! Wasn`t sure if someone else was giving them alot of pressure or maybe some clearfells has started to move them wider a field?

Hi there, your buck has probibly damaged his antlers before they hardened of but when the velvet hasn`t shed you`ll find it possibibly a testosterone or lack of that has made him fall behind the times. I`ve shot alot of deer in bad condition this spring and i blame the wet back end of the year and hard winter when the snow was on the ground for 3 weeks. Also alot of does with singles suggesting that the condition of the does was poor when the embreos starting growing again in december. Anyone else found this?

Hi dave, i`ve had heads at 550 grams make gold so i wouldn`t worry about it, don`t cut it before its measured as they can only deduced 90 grams for uncut heads, you might cut more than that off!
