    she's been on here loads............bred by a deerhoundy lurcher to lurcher 'stan' he's sadly no longer with us, he's from the north east out of this line / type of dogs she's out of a 'top honcho' sired greyhound bitch 'brontannas deass'...i cant find a pic of her but 'belles' sister looks very much like her don't have any recent pics of her siblings but heres one of 3 of them at around 9 month

    He's doing brilliant KC im over the moon with him ...so far so good mate. . he's looking ace but for me its not his breeding, his build or his condition..........that don't fck with me look he has is tops

    surely no one can comment on anothers life choices or decisions, these kinda things aren't planned or wished for, ive been through a divorce and made to watch as my mutts were gotten rid of, it's a pure heartbreak

    surprised a non ped / grew hasnt been mentioned............the size and practicality of a peddy, often a better coat, usually faster and many have the calm laid back nature of the greyhound

    i'm another old geezer and most of the best i've seen have been bitzas but most of them have a dash or two of collie in them

    they need that little something to add steadiness and longevity. Yeah steadiness definitely but i dunno about longevity the bitch was killed in an accident whilst on her quarry but the other one is tough as old boots. Hes only been laid up a handful of times that i can remember and like i say has run on terrible ground and he gets abit of work. Self preservation is maybe the word for it. Maybe these fellers that know of bull crosses that can lamp 4 or 5 nights a week will be able to tell us whether there dogs have ever suffered from acidosis and how much running where they truly capable of ??

    on days off ............had the mutts out for a couple of hours, nice wee mooch just need a wee bit of cloud cover and a breeze .......not too hopeful looking at the forecast but hey theres always ferreting in the morning

    for me, every pup is different and learns things and matures at a different rate, by all means get them accustomed to the sights and sounds of the countryside early, make pals with smelly's, learn a wee bit of obedience, respect the nets, seeing an adult dog picking up bolters, learning to mark etc but there's a world of difference between bringing a pup on to 6hrs in the cold with sometimes not a lot to do, best to do it in a lot of small steps that the pup whatever age can manage

    we never had a camera in the 70's / 80's maybe just as well, if for nothing else some haircuts are best left back then, don't see much harm in a few pics, often take the camera for a wee mooch or have it close by in the car when ferretting but like has been said the law has sussed too.....that the camera never lies
