    EDRD No.10

Mr. Harcombe mentioned in the mag a few months back that copies of issue 10 have gone for daft money in the past, and I've seen some go for over £150 in the past? Does anyone know why? There's three on Ebay at the moment and they aren't going for that much.... Any ideas?
  7. They make great ferret food and that's about it I used to shoot a lot of them and I had a few mates that would take them. Tough as old boots

  9. No, the dam is slightly more collie than grey and she went to a greyhound. Makes him (very) roughly 3/4 grey 1/4 collie

  12. Nice one Ray....I love the old pics So was this before or after the bull crosses mate?
  13. I've ran bulls and wheaten crosses and I found them both wonderful dogs. In my experience the bulls matured earlier whereas the wheatens, whilst a bit slower to mature, took a bit to switch on and once they did.....hold on! The wheaten cross was a loving, loyal bitch who wanted nothing more than to please me but she did have issues if dogs showed her aggression. She never started a fight, ever. Finished a few though. Very versatile when it came to the gun and was soft mouthed when she needed to be (on birds) and a demon on anything else. Shit coat though but it didn't seem to bother her. I don

  20. Oh ya, how can you be so sure? does anyone actually know the full ancestry of either? istead of lads going by their own theory? and jumping down other lads necks when they express their own, if im so far off, prove and il stand corrected. How can I be so sure of what?
  21. I haven't been to Patterdale since 1996 but I'm pretty sure there isn't and has never been a station there. Are you saying that the Patterdale was the forerunner of the Fell? ie. the Patterdale was crossed with XYZ to create the Fell?
  22. Bull Arabs are not Bull/Saluki crosses
  23. Patterdale was just another name for the Lakeland Terrier, just like Reedwater was another name for the Border. The way I see it is the Patterdale and the Lakie are just types of Fell Terrier, a catch-all term that encompasses a few types.
