  2. Can anyone remember TB's dogs from up Scotland? Game-Quest was the prefix...Violet Kray etc....Not Staffs and they were bred small and were early 20's.

    I didn't know London from a hole in the ground WILF, other than buying Bennies and Freds from The Cavern and later Merc on day trips. I made the mistake of moving to Catford with a couple of mates....now that place is a shithole. We used to drink in a pub under the railway bridge....stopped going after seeing kids chase the dragon in there. Ladywell....another dump. There's a boozer opposite the baths that we used to get in and you'd have to step round and over the dog shit in there. I moved to the east after that and enjoyed it, but I would still go back to Catford for the pie and mash. That

    London has some good places tucked away......Scott's Eel & Pie shop in Catford....best pie and mash I've ever had and that place was responsible for my addiction to eels.....Motcombs in Motcomb Street....best steak tartar I've ever had and one of the best restaurants in the world and I've eaten in some of the best.....bloody mary's in The Grenadier behind Hyde Park Corner.....the pub in the Tescos car park in Beckton Always travellers in there betting on the toss of a coin
