  2. I must have got the only cab driver to not know Vegas at all! She ended up phoning the cops so they could guide us to your house! Your truck was f*cking freezing by the way! How was I to know the door was open round the back of the house? Did Rocky ever show you that video he made of him, that bird from Pheonix and the bummer? The bits I saw were spot on ....almost as funny as the "ooh there's a turtle....splash" episode
  3. Who's that devilishly handsome bloke in the middle?

    Lamp ideas

A million cp is enough for me. Secondary bulb is a real bonus and I wouldn't want to be without one now. Don't skimp on the connections though lads. I've found the Clulite to have awful soldering and connections in general. I've stripped all the housing away and made my own now and I've not had a bad night since (touch wood). There's nowt worse than getting to your ground and flicking the switch to have nothing or intermittent light. I like a 17a battery too. Best of luck
  10. What's the fat content of Aussie? Heard it's quite low. Hills Science is a touch pricey isn't it?
  11. BETA Active 30% Protein 16% Fat Since I've got the extra freezer it's mostly chicken these days but when I was feeding the complete I'd always chuck olive oil in with it to boost the fats.

    Dogging Motors

Got an Escort Estate which was mint when I bought it, but now has the back bumper smashed, front drivers side light and panel smashed up, the speakers in the boot are rusted from where the dogs have salivated/spewed all over them and I shot the passenger wing mirror out a while back Oh and I don't recommend them for going over plough! I fancy a disco next.
  13. That's brilliant news. I'm pleased she's back in the field and catching.
  14. Spot on with that Bulldog. I'm with you on using Bull blood like that. I'm not averse to it, but there are often better options out there. To give an example, there's a lad with a nice stamp of bulldog and some other lads with good working dogs have approached him to use the dog for stud, for better strength of jaw, head size etc etc...you know the craic. But they'd be better served, as you say, going to the lad who has a similar sort, but carries the attributes they are after. As for earth dogs, well there's so many different breeds contained within many of the established types already.
  15. I wouldn't cross them for crossings sake, but I wouldn't think twice about putting a good dog to another good dog, regardless of breed.
  16. I know a lad who was out after them this weekend   I have a trip of about 4 miles to my nearest ones.... Kiwi these pigs over here (not the colony these boys are talking about though) have been wild and breeding for some time and they are not the same type as you and the Aussies hunt....these are big nasty Polish/Russian/German imports...get up to around 400lb and fight like fury. When I've hunted this type over the water, the boys over there wouldn't dream of using dogs on them as they prefer the flush and shoot methods. They have dogs bred for this kind of
  17. Well done mate. Pleased for you and the dog.
  18. Had Brummy down today and we had a stroll over on some permission I have with his terrier. There were a few earths to check in amongst the fields and hedges. This earth is right next to a little track and runs right under it. No-one home We thought for a split second we were on here, but again nothing This is in a big spot that we thought better of dropping the dog in.....it's at the bottom of someone's garden A fox had been sitting in some bushes about 20 yards away while we were standing talking and I only noticed it as it slipped through the fen
  19. Smart picture that one mate. There's something about scenery like that....
