  1. No-one on here owns that dog....no-one can comment on it's "prowess" If you want to know, ring the number on the advert
  2. I haven't seen hide nor hair of the Canadas for ages. Loads of Greylags but.
  3. I've seen many examples of this type of dog. I used to knock about with some p***y lads and they liked this cross for digging. Lots of people over the years have added bull to their terriers, for various reasons. There was a jr/bull for stud in EDRD recently. I don't know if it's still in there.
  4. Checked that nest yesterday and the eggs were all gone.
  5. It seems I'm finally getting the hang of this shotgun lark! I had a quick walk around one farm and we totalled 8 pigeons (woodies and collards) and a crow. I did cheat and use the rifle a few times though! And then just when I was getting bored....I decided to dig a hole in a hedge for no good reason You'll never guess what was in the bottom of the hole!
  6. Looks a nice sort. How old was she when you got her from rescue?
  7. Nice one Andy! I knew there must be some out there!
  8. Ah, but they can spell "house" properly The reason I ask about the brindle roughs is just that I've never seen one personally. I've seen it come through the smooths but never in the shaggy dogs. Just a daft question for a boring afternoon
  9. Cool What's the breeding on that that one mate?

I'd got for the old one too. I get confused with too much choice!
  11. Has anyone got or seen a brindle rough coated one?

    Happy birthday monkey boy
  13. Just been to Harrods and they are currently selling Bichon Frise puppies at £799 a pop
  14. Depends what you are looking for I suppose, but I like the hard blood gear
  15. Bit spicey for my delicate palate Ratkilla Did you have a dog with you?
  16. There's a few in the Bull Breeds forum who hunt with the bulldogs Don't mind me calling you Swampy
  17. Welcome aboard Swampy...what sort of hunting do you do with your dogs?
  18. Beta Active, although I am moving back to raw.
  19. Excellent Chris, really excellent
  20. Did you go Ratkilla? I made it down for this one and it was quite good. First impressions were that it wasn't going to be much cop, but after we'd moved inside I enjoyed it. There were some great food stalls and me and Cupid bought some scran. The sausages from the "Black Farmer" were a touch on the lovely side! There were some nice dogs there, loads of bedlington/whippet crosses for some reason, more than I've seen in ages. Nice to see some Spinones and Gordon Setters (which Mike pointed out) as well as a few Irish Water Spaniels. I caught a bit of the protection dog show as we were going
  21. Sometimes mate, it's the dog, not you. Don't beat yourself over the head about it. I've got a collie cross as you know, and dummy's and toys are perfect. The real thing is different matter. It's left me scratching my head at times, yet I've trained a Stafford to a standard I'm happy with and I've got another dog picking up and bringing back no bother. Just keep at it mate and you might get there. I'll do the same!
  22. I can only comment on my own who's a sly, devious bugger! She's a bully, very possessive, VERY guardy to the extent that she'll guard anything you put on the floor, even a cup of tea Scatty at times too. Her nose seems to get better by the day and she's a dream in cover. Not everyone's cup of tea that, but perfect for me. What I have noticed is that she's very indepent too, which translates as pig-headed I suppose. You might read this description and think I'm knocking her, but nothing could be further from the truth. I wouldn't part with her for the world. Good ferreting dog and
  23. I've got nothing against Asians personally. Chilli is a good lad and the colour of his skin has nothing to do with anything. He was the only bloke on the Brighton march that I saw who was wearing a turban and that takes guts.
