  3. One good shot can be more satifying than a bag full of piss easy ones. Nice one Misty
  4. I like the second pic.....have you been lamping bowling greens again Kane?
  5. We're on the same page Wilky That's pretty much my sentiments Trev.

    Hi

Any breeds you don't like? Welcome G/Lass
  7. Does it? I've never started off with two dogs in at the off anywhere
  8. I've just been reading some old F&MWTC year books and in nearly every instance of the rescues reported the dogs were doubled up. I'm not talking about putting another dog in to get a mark, I'm talking about "Rags was entered, followed by Judd ten minutes later" kind of thing. Was this practice more common in the past? I can understand that faulty technology has a part to play in some digs having multiple dogs, but to start off with two to ground before the day has begun strikes me as unusual. At the end of some of these digs there has been over six dogs in one spot I know it was
  9. You've met my sister then? :11:
  10. Aye, I've a soft spot for them
  11. The only pic we have at the moment is on the last page of Dillon's article in this months EDRD.
  12. I've just seen that cooking oil signature :11: :11: :11: :11: :11: :11: You dirty b*****d :11: :11: :11:
  13. Lakeland, Git did his own last time around and it was at 3 days. The council of docked breeds recommends between 2 and 5 days.
  14. Seriously mate, it's a good idea. I chucked a pig on there last year (roadkill...actually it was trainkill) and I found it outside a fox earth and all that was left was the spinal cord and head. They can't resist it.
  15. There'll be more knowledgeable lads tell you more than I can mate, but I made a midden a couple of years back and all my kills go on there, minus what I need for the freezer. I take most of mine during the day and it's a case of walk up and let the dogs hunt up. There's thick cover surrounding it and as you know, my dogs thrive in there. At night it's a different story as there are pigs everywhere.
  16. Yeah it's ok for you big fella's to go on about heavy guns but us small chaps have to make do with a lighter model cos we ain't got the bulk to hump one of them around for a few hours :11: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not my fault I'm big boned :11:
  17. That black dog is a beauty
  18. In my opinion, the best way to stop a dog rabbiting like that is to get it on the foxes :11: But I suppose you didn't want to hear that?
  19. Paddy, apparently there's a game fair coming up soon down your way, so could I ask you to keep your eyes peeled. Timmy's been told too, but he's on his hols at the moment. Cheers young un'
  20. Dillon has asked me to put this post up due to a mate of his having four terriers nicked in Quin, Co. Clare They are: Black Dog (photo of this dog is on the last page of Dillon's article in this months EDRD) Black and Tan dog Red Grizzle dog Black and Tan bitch All dogs have working marks There's a £1000 reward for the recovery of these dogs. Dillon can't get to the pc right now which is why I am posting. No doubt he will give more detailed info when he's back on.

  22. I've had one for a few years and they ain't too bad. I use the Superpoint or Hollowpoint through it and it does ok. In my opinion I prefer it to the other HW's I've used as I like a heavy rifle and I like an underlever too. It's not got the finish of the TX and it's not as smooth but it's got a much better loading system. A good rifle
  23. I take foxes over here feeding on a midden. I lash all my geese, cats, foxes etc etc on it and it brings them in.
