  1. Thing is my Matterhorns are still going strong despite the battering they took in the Nevada desert which took most of the leather off.....grand boots them. I've been wearing my (brand new) German Para boots on dry evenings and they are utter shite. Even the slightest bit of dew goes straight through them. Waste of £40. My Altamas are dead now and although I've got a brand new pair of them, I've managed to buy a narrow foot, so if anyone wants a pair, they are going begging.....size 8 narrow, never been worn, free to a good home.
  2. I've just bought a pair of these http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...MainCatcat20564 And a pair of these http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...0564&hasJS=true But I fancy them cheapo ones....at just over £16 you can't go wrong.
  3. Anyone had any of these boots? Any comment on them? These are too cheap to ignore..... http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...Cave&hasJS=true
  4. Them's big buggers mate Hasn't Chuckie's just topped the 30" mark? You must be chuffed to bits I bet

  6. I'll not eat them :11: I do like snails though, but the ones in my garden are dirty b*****ds :11:
  7. I eat gull eggs... they sell them in a cracking little butchers in Leadenhall Market so for any of you cockneys out there who haven't tried them yet, get yourself down there and try a taste sensation :11:
  8. There's a few boys over the water that I am pally with and they use lengths of pipe dug into a bank vertically, with the bottom sealed and baited with whatevers handy, usually fish guts/heads. The mink gets in and can't get out again....surprising what you find when you're out checking them :11:
  9. It's not a wheaten :11: She's a mongrel and she's 12 months
  10. She's a Heinz 57 with a good ash of Airedale Nipper. The carcasses go on the midden and help feed the piggies and the foxes. If I'm stuck for ferret grub then I bring a few back.
  11. The first one I shot I cooked........never again :11: I'd rather boil my shoes :11:
  12. You came on a quiet weekend mate.... :11:
  13. I was out this morning after the canadas and I was having a good morning. I'd shot one unsighted from the bulldog so I moved around to the other side of the lake and then this little girl jumped out in front of us.... When you are on a contract, every fox, no matter how big, is a fox.... Not a bad morning for the pup.....
  14. No he hasn't.....it was an accident
  15. 100% without a shadow of a doubt, that's black headed gulls egg
  16. Is it about terriers and terrier work on mainland Europe Max? Or is does it contain stuff about Britain too? And can you get me cheap Lambrettas? :11: SX200 and TV175 Series III please
  17. There's no harm in worming them. I can also say my dogs love pigs feet...they last for ages with the bulldogs, well compared to the rest anyway I get black binbags full to the top of crap from the butchers every saturday and often the gear is good enough for me to eat. It costs nowt and all you've got to do is ask.
  18. Tideline get their order in this afternoon, so as soon as I get a copy, I'll do a review.....how's that?
  19. I've got it on order after Cragman told me about it advertised on the back page of this months EDRD.
