  1. My wheaten cross was as soft as f**k around dogs. When I had Chilli down for a rake about, the wheaten kept well away from his bull cross bitch and to some she'd seem a bit shy. That all changed though when she felt she was being threatened by another dog, she'd go f*****g mental....and I mean proper mental. She'd take so much and then.....BANG! Breaking stick time. Such a powerful animal and that wheaten drive really came through in that girl. Once her prey drive switched on at about 11/12 months, I found it better to run her without other dogs, or if this couldn't be avoided, I made sure

  3. Might be to do with the shit flinging session currently underway on smoochers
  4. Meths or surgical spirit does harden the feet. I've used it on myself before and it's worked well, but if you use too much then the skin cracks. First time I used it on myself I had a tiny hairline cut I didn't know about........ stung a bit I can tell you. I don't use it on the dogs.

  17. Have you worked him to quarry Johnny? Sometimes a dog calms down a bit when they realise what their raison d'etre is. Some dogs take a lot longer to mature too and you might have one of those. Course...there's always the possibility that your dogs a fecking idiot :11: Seriously though Johnny, me and my mate Nick had this red grizzle Russell type years back when we were teenagers, and he was like yours. Everything was 100 mph, mad as a box of frogs but with no focus to it. He'd run around like a maniac with no purpose and bugger all end product. He never stopped when he got home eithe
