Not sure as im not into these types of dogs to be honest, i have Springers so its impotant for them to flush and retrieve. You could wrap a Bunny skin around a dummy...give him a couple of retrieves using a normal dummy and then replace this with one with a rabbit skin on, thow the dummy o place it in the same place as the previous ones and give him loads of encouragement...you should have him retrieving on the rabbit in no time. Worked with my springers but my prob is that i dont have any rabbits around Bristol what i can find anyway to train the dogs on flushing etc Hope this helps

My pond is approx 7ft long, 5ft deep and 4ft wide But only about 3ft of it is above land, made out of blocks and a liner, with railings around the top for safety with the kids and the dogs Pump pushes through 1000 gallons per hour, think my pond holds about 500 gallons. I have 2 filter systems one just being a water header tank with a few pipes connected all from B&Q 1 filter full of brushes and the other as all the stone stuff in.. I have about 20 average size Koi in mine never had any probs and the water is always very clear. You could make a veg filter (think thats wha

There is loads of rabbits down at Berrow plus seagulls so the temptation fo a dog to give chase is quite high. I paniced a few years back when my Collie just legged it along the beach to BOS I had the boy with me who was very young at the time and i even phoned the MRS to say i had lost the dog. Drove up to BOS and then back to Berrow almost gave up until the dog came running back to me soaking wet.... Hopefully it will be found eventually.. lets hope so, the owners were distraught. Berrow is a great place for the dogs and we had a bunny on friday......not one of the lurchers but

She is coming along well at present. im not rushing things but she sits to voice, whistle and hand command and retrieves well at present. Im working more on the quartering at present but she seems to be so much more responsive then my other Springer, but im not sure if this is because i have more experiance now with the 2nd dog. I can see a difference with her and i deff, have more eye contact with this one, again not sure if its the dog or due to me being that little bit more asscertive with my commands etc. THe Father in law kept 2 dogs back from the litter and they are big strong spri

Ive been down to Winchester today for meetings and there is loads of ground which i expect will get attacked by Pigeons why dont you knock on a few doors.. Seen pigeons landed in a field on the Hungerford turn off the M4 this morning and this evening there was a large flock around that area... Good luck

Believe me i would of been the same, i cant stand catching the things, slimey little devils, but its amazing how far they actually travel just to bite your worm

If all goes well i should have my S410 Carbine next weekend, so i might look at doing something like this in the near future Cheers
