    Hi All. Over the last month or two I've come across adverts in the wife's gardening mags for 'dog rocks'. These are added to your dogs water bowl to help stop the urine 'burning patches in the lawn'. I'm don't know if anyone has tried these but from my research ( including daughter in law the vet nurse ), the following is what I've been strongly advised.     Could you please rephrase the question? This site is open to ALL pest controllers that are qualified and insured to undertake this type of work.     Anybody know what the new rules are for shipping weapons. I'm thinking of selling one of mine but looking around some of the shop websites recently they state they can only deliver to your nearest airgun outlet as the transaction has to be done face to face due to some new violent crime law.     The last week I've made use of of 3 canine water bottles I got free last year with the dog food we get. They hold 1Ltr each,clip onto your belt and have a fold down trough you squeeze the water into for them to drink from. No makers name on them.But very handy for hot days between my watering holes where they get a pint or two aswell. Nothing wrong with reminding folk about this. It is to easy to go for a quick run meet a mate get involved and end up with sick animals for the sake of a little water. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:

How do these "wipes" affect accuracy, surely to only contact you wan is in the barrel, anything else would affect the spin on the pellet or distaught its shape. TTHE WIPES DON'T HAVE ANY EFFECT AS THE ARE FOAM

    Have designed my own 3 stage mod. Below is a snapshot of the cutaway. The first section is a perforated tube, the viod between that and the outer body is loosely filled with scotchbrite. The second stage is basicaly a series of conical washers which deflect and slow the exhaust. The third stage consists of three foam 'wipes' which is the only point the round makes any form of contact inside the mod.     Still havent had a reply from officialdom. But the two gamekeepers I know say that it was only the bird lime that was made illegal. the traps are legal depending on the strength of the adhesive(you should be able to remove it without ripping the feathers out)and you can't walk away and leave them for hours on end,you must be present (hidden obviously) to take or release the birds within a reasonable time.

    but when the cone gets stuck on its head it will still be able to fly about so wouldnt it be easier to put the cone in a tray of super glue so when it lands in it its feet get stuck then you will be able to catch it easy hahaha 9big franks minus) Know it and used it. It's called a 'fools cap'trap. They used bird lime in it years ago intil it became illegal (Worse than contact adhesive). I use double sided sticky tape.     Theres been a lot of bitching going on thats taken over good topics,and a h3ll of a lot of wind ups/set ups and time wasters. Maybe it's just time for a spring clean. Unfortunatly most will be back under a different guise eventually.
