I had a chance to set a few traps on my work break today on the golf course so set some this morning and finished setting at the other end of the golf course on my lunch break, and as i was walking past a few of the traps i set in the morning i thought i would just have a quick check to see if any were sprung, and that is when i saw the tell tale sign of the pin open on the talpex trap, so pulled out the trap expecting to see the mole but when i pulled out a white one i was over the moon jumping with joy like i had won the lottery. I just got find someone to stuff it for me now, i may not catc

  8. I brought some off steve quite a while back brilliant little traps very handy. Only down side is having to set two per set so to speak having one either way were a duffus would do it in one go. But i would definetly not be without them.

  11. My boss asked me to catch a few moles of the course, after there busy spell beneath the snow on the course and with the course being closed was ideal to trap knowing no golfers would be interfering. i set half a dozen traps in three areas two traps to what i though would be home to one mole so to speak. I set the traps yesterday morning at 8 i went out at 1 just to check nothing had been tampered with by dog walkers and i had already caught one result. Checked the remaining traps today and caught another two good result and the golf course hopefully free of moles for a short while.
  12. Hi everyone just wondering if anyone has purchased the duffus type traps of fourteen acre or foxtrap and wondered what they are like. Im looking for some new traps had a few of my traps pinched last time i was catchin a few moles for a favour i was gutted when i realised someone had pinched my traplines . I just fancied investing in some duffus traps and fingers crossed loose no more to thieves. Any opinions be greatly appreciated . Wingnut

  15. Im pretty sure there was a post a while back someone suggested adding little blobs of silicone on the collar which would grip the ferrets fur. Abit like them gardening gloves u can buy with the grippy rubber on the front.

  18. Hi everyone, well I finally got time to put up a little read about my outings last week on my time off from work, and I had some really good days as everywhere else I have been these season has been riddled with myxi. Well a family friend's daughter wanted to come out on a ferreting session with me, and I was more than happy to oblige, showing her how great our sport can be, its something I have enjoyed for years and I love showing others the sport and show them the thrill and buzz I get from it. So it was all set I would pick her up Wednesday morning at 9 o clock and we would head off up
