  1. Cheers Zini. Yeh i have your Spring Rifle Vermin Control DVD, also watched that again before i made my decision. Shame you had to get rid of it but thats life i suppose eh? Hopefully mines serves me as well as yours did you. Cheers John
  2. Cheers Phantom mate. Could be some feather on the cards soon. Stopped in on a farm 5 mins from my house this afternoon, loads of crows feedin in the cow sheds and got permission to have a go at them. Went back up for half an hour with the gun just incase i could catch any slipping, not a thing, they see you before you see them. Plan is to get some deeks, crow caller and some camo netting and bait them in with a dead rabbit John

  6. Hi all, not posted on here for a good while, not been out for quite some time, but its not stopped me buying a new gun After selling the TX, I fancied a new gun, it came down to either 97k, another TX, or a Prosport. After looking through the net, and also talking to Shay on here, I decided on the Prosport. Luckily for me there was one for sale on the AAOC. It was a .177 walnut stocked Prosport, 3 years old, came with a Hawke Sport HD 4-12X50 mildot scope which had been re parallaxed to 25 yards, a realtree gunbag and a sling. The guy also had the internals and trigger tuned, so i took
  7. Yeh might as well, you will get it sorted mate dont worry. This stuff about scopes without AO is all news to me. I did have a non AO scope a while back but was my first scope and didnt know much at all about diff scopes and features. Only reason i know is ive just bought a new gun and the guy told me the scope it comes with has been reparallaxed to 25 yards, didnt have a clue so looked into it and found all that out.
  8. Done a quick search on Google and found this http://www.sheprethairgun.co.uk/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18 Never done it before but i hear its easy to do. You could maybe phone the shop you bought it from and see if they would help, or maybe someone on here might be close enough to you to help John
  9. You have bought a crackin gun mate, nice one. I hope im right here, but if the scope isn't an AO (Adjustable Objective) scope, i think the parallax (some scopes have are paralax adjustable, which mean you can change the focus on it depending what distance you are shooting at) is set at 100 yards, at least im sure i read this recently, someone may correct me. I thinking you can re-paralax non AO scopes, Theres a lot more to zeroing a scope than you will first think, i found this out in time. An airgun isnt really capable of shooting to 100 yards. An ideal zero range for you may be 25
  10. dunno if the diagram on this may help, if you have the mark3 you will have to go back to the air arms page and pick the mark3 http://gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24242&cat=TX200+MK+I+%26amp%3B+II
  11. Yeh my TX is great but doesnt get used as much as it should and im after a 177 Ah decisions decisions!!
  12. Cheers lads, will pay the local shop a visit when i next get a chance. meenwhile, i'll stick on Zini's springer DVD again and see if it helps me make up my mind any
  13. Hello all. Im after a new springer. Justnow i have a 22 tx200hc but im after a 177 so the tx is up for sale. Ive had my heart set on a Prosport. Its the best looking rifle ive ever seen and gets great reviews. But im starting to look into other springers and have came up with a shortlist - prosport, tx200hc, hw95k, hw97k or hw97kt. I know each is a great gun, and a lot of you has or has had at least one in the past, so was just wondering if any of you guys have experience with the above (or more than one of the above) what are these guns like out of the box? I know if i was to go
  14. Really wants a Prosport!!!

  15. bear trap now fitted and in full working order
  16. im guessing just because there are a lot of them in circulation mate so a lot pop up for sale. ive got the s410 classic as well and love it
  17. For sale is my MK2 .22 TX200HC. I bought it a few months ago. Reason for sale is i dont use it so cant justify keeping it, plus xmas is coming up and i may want to treat myself to an early present Only ever used it for plinking in the garden, got an S410 soon after and this has sat in the cabinet since. The stock (beech) is in good condition for its age, has some knocks and scratches, as you would expect from a gun of its age. The action is the same, blueing is fine but has a few scrapes at the loading port and the cocking aid on the lever is a bit discoloured. It shoots very smoothl
