    Hi all. I am needing to get a new locator now that i am back into ferreting after a while out. I used to have a Deben mk 1 locator but that does not work anymore. I have 3 collars for this locator. If i can not manage to get another mk 1 locator, is it possible to use the mk 1 collars with a mk 3 or mk 3m locator box? I think i heard somewhere you can but wasn't sure. Does anyone know? I am needing a new locator asap as my uncle got a phonecall from a farmer saying he needs his fields cleared asap and we are hoping to go down on Sunday, so trying to get a locator before then.

    Hi all Although i don't have any permission (yet), im lucky that my back garden is about 4 acres and theres usually a good few woodies in the trees. Well i spent most of the day shooting paper targets, for something to do and making sure my scope was bang on (i've got a BSA Lightning XL Tactical) A bit later in the day, i went out to have another go at the targets, and by chance spotted two woodies landing in a tree, about 60 yards or so away. I managed to creep round the edge of my garden, hiding behind a tree thats fell over in the garden, and got about 15 yards away from them, and

    Alright everyone. Needing tips on getting permission. I currently have one that i do a bit of ferreting on, but asked about using air rifles and she didnt seem to keen, as there is riding stables on the land and there are people around all day, she said i could shoot at night, never done this before but do want to, but also want to shoot while its still light. So im going to try and get more permission. Im sure this question will have been asked plenty of times before, so sorry for repeating it, but whats the best way to go about getting permission?     I recently got a parker hale silencer with a .177 gun that i bought 2nd hand. Can i use this silencer on my .22 rifle or are they made to fit a certain calibre? it does fit onto my .22 but i didnt want to try without knowing and risk fecking the gun and silencer.

    iv just watched the half 1 one. mostly bout how ferrets came from polecats n about the housing. doesnt actualy get to the ferreting bit lol. think this is just the 1st part. interesting to me as im a beginner but to others it wont be anything new at all.

    yeh im trying to work out the best way to do it. my wee brother is a plumber and good at putting things like this together, said he will have a look in bnq n see if he can work something out. how have you got on when using this light mate? is it strong enough for rabbits or would you just use it on rats in barns etc?

    anyone else done anything like this?..... www.falconowners.myfastforum.org/tesco_cree_torch_about2434.html www.airgunbbs.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-320955.html i read these and got one from tesco near me to see what it was like. only just under £12, never had a gun light before as im just new to all this. seems good for the money if your just starting out and wanting to give it a go without spending a lot to start with. does seem like a good beam you get from it. now just need to work out how to fit it to my gun and give it a go to see if it will work.

    Hi people. Sorry i never even realised people where posting in this, as i posted the same thread in the gen airguns section, and asked if this one could be deleted. woops. ended up buying a lightning xl tactical, then the other day got offered a Falcon FN19, and i had just remembered my mum was keeping money for me so i wouldnt spend it, i ended up buying that aswell, really wanted a pcp. so now iv got 2 lol. in two minds wether to keep the lightning or not, think i will. suppose its good to have a choice of guns. thanks for all your replys john

    Gutted. Just bought a brand new XL Tactical on Saturday, i would have went for this if i hadnt already bought the XL, as i live in east kilbride. If i could get around the same money i paid for my XL i would by this off you. When you off to the US?

    Hi all. I am wanting to get an airgun. Now that the ferreting season is over, i want to get into air gunning. So i will be using it to shoot rabbits, and any pigeons, squirrels etc if i get the chance. I have a budget of around £250. I know PCP rifles are better but dont think i would get one in my budget so will prob have to be a springer for justnow. Anyone got any sugestions? I live near Glasgow. Incase anyone local is selling anything that fits what i need.
