Since im off work today, i thought i would get up early and go for a quick shoot. I decided to go to the same permission as last time, but this time go to the other house which ive been given permission at, but not shot there yet. This is just someones back garden. I can only shoot here early morning any time before half 7. The guys happy for me to shoot but only wants me to shoot when hes about and he leaves for work at half 7 every morning. I had text him last night and told him i was coming up just to see where the rabbits were coming from and maybe pop a few from the car window

Yeah your T10 does look great, i had a look at one when shopping for guns. The next thing for the S200 is hopefully a new scope, not sure what one yet, and then the 10 shot mag. Then maybe eventually send it off to get reg'd and it will defo be a keeper! Cheers mate, im hoping we can get some good bags after a few visits there, will defo get some good ferreting done there in the winter aswell!
-
Cheers again Shay. Yeah he intends to get a new silencer for it and its the HW hes looking at i think so i will let him know, and if you do get a spare you can let him know. Yeah im loving the S200, dont think i'll ever get rid lol.

Cheers Shay. Thats the Ultra Scott spoke to you about, we wernt getting any accuracy with RWS H points but as soon as we put RWS Superdomes through it they groups became a lot tighter. Cheers, yeh im hoping after ive been a few times and find good spots to lay up i'll start getting good bags. Think i will get some good ferreting there next season. Good write up mate. I hope the land owner has contacted the other people who have permission there, as you dont want to bump into them and get into an argument over who has the permission Kyle Cheers mate. Good p

Last night me and my shooting buddy, mcscottybhoyno1 on here, went for a walk round a newly acquired permission. Its a small wooded area next to 3 houses. The woods area jointly owned by the owners of 2 of the houses, who have both gave us permission to shoot and ferret there, they already have people shooting and ferreting there but they are only there occasionally apparently. They both have very nice, well kept gardens and 2 allotments and are totally demented by the damage the rabbits cause so they say the more people helping the better. Anyway we decided to go up for the first t

If i were you i would go for it. I have been ferreting two permissions i recently got in the last 2 weeks, not getting big numbers, just went for an hour or two to show my face and show im getting the job done bit by bit, so im welcomed back in the next season. So i say get the ferrets collared up and go for it!

ANOTHER one Shay!! lol. Nah fair enough, if i had the money i would defo have went for this too. Fancy getting another springer so i dont pick up loads of bad habits shooting a PCP only.

i got robbed then i paid £10.83 for all 4 were do they get this consultation fee you take them there to get it done they do it simple as that Ah well you win! lol. I phoned about and that was my best price so i was happy to pay it anyway, specially after what i paid last year so no complaints. The consultation fee........i dont know. They mentioned something about how if any of the ferrets were bigger than average it may cost more, so i think the consultation consisted of them lookin at the ferrets, and thinking "yup they are all average size" and that was it but feck know
-
I got the jill jab for my 3 jills last week. Paid £30 odds all in, it was £14 for 1 consultation and one jab, and about £8 odds per ferret after that, was delighted with the price. Last year i paid £24 at another vets just to get 1 jill done! So defo phone about for prices

Just bought a new rifle
johnboy19 replied to Shaunm41's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I think the guy in the shop was over exaggerating about the range, even the most experienced shooters on this forum wont take shots on live vermin at 60 yards. But if you can put say 9 out of 10 pellets in a hole the size of a £1 coin at 20 yards, and the gun has the power, you can hunt at that range, and then practice and see how it performs at longer ranges. 20 yards doesnt seem much but when static hunting with enough camo on, you will be able to get within range of rabbits. Zini on here got a cheap Chinese gun given to him for a project, a T45 me thinks but may be wrong, and done a -
How many fills from 3 ltr 300 bar bottle?
johnboy19 replied to johnboy19's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Depends on how low you let it get before filling. Kyle good point, never even thought of that, woops! Hi Phantom. No i've not got it. I had a quick look on a site once to download it but im using a Mac and i think it was only the PC version that was there so i guessed there's not a Mac version, am i wrong? John -
where abouts in scotland are you? would you sell the bottle on its own?
-
Nice one Phantom, just goes to show if you do the job properly your name will get passed about. Im sure it wont be long till you have pics and a write up for us bud, looking forward to it. John

Nice one Si, you must be delighted. I have bought Airgun Shooter the last 2 months and think its great, prefer it to the other 2. John

A few questions about FAC/SGC
johnboy19 replied to johnboy19's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
At the moment its not secured, just hidden, but there are a good few decent places in my house where it can be secured out of sight. I dont know much about the cabinet but will have a look tomorrow and get back to you. To be honest i think its a shotgun cabinet as my rifle, scoped, doesnt really sit in it comfortably, it sits in at a bit of an angle. Its has 2 basic locks on it, one top and one bottom, which use different keys, and i have 2 of each. Ill get back to you tomorrow and ill have a look and see if i can see what make it is etc John -
Ive got a .22 mate. Only really tried RWS pellets in them properly so far. I use RWS Superdomes in mine and get good results. Also tried the RWS Superfields in it but could only get one tin and couldnt get them again, these gave me slightly better groups. I have bought another tin off ebay but cant use them until i get my pump back John

I have been shooting airguns and ferreting for about a year and a half now, and have a few permissions, and working on some others. Im wanting to apply for my SGC in the next year maybe, and maybe my FAC, as it looks like the Scottish airgun ban might be getting closer. I already have a cabinet in my house as my mum and dad are foster carers so the guns need to be locked up. I dont know anything about the spec of the cabinet. Am i right in saying that cabinets need to fit certain regulations etc? And would the rifles and shotguns need to be kept in different cabinets? Cheers,

I wouldnt even entertain the guy with a response to it mate. Your vids are excellent. For people like me, someone who has only really taken up the sport in the last year, and only started taking it seriously in the last 3 or 4 months, I get a lot of info and learn a lot from your vids, as well as your posts on here, so keep it up and dont let :wankerzo4: like that stop you. BTW you can count me in for a copy of your new dvd when its ready, as well as the other 2 you have done if possible Cheers, John
