Got to agree fella, I was fortunate in that I bagged a couple of pinks early on, but best part of trip was sitting in the church yard watching the geese flight back in, it seemed to last for ever and the noise was incredible. I may drag my mate and myself up there again one day. We go to the Tay every year so its not to far, worth the extra drive just to witness the sheer numbers. Nightmare trying to book dates that are good tide wise though.

Nice report and video's thanks for sharing. I was on Montrose a couple of years ago but had the flights totally ruined by a couple of fowlers walking on late then leaving early. Awesome sight though.

Some tidy photos there fella. I try and get upto your neck of the woods a couple of times a season, it really is a incredible sight to see some pinks flighting, although I had my flights trashed by another fowler last season it was still worth the trip up. I cannot wait till i'm sat in that church yard watching them flight in in the evening knowing that i'm going to be out there in the morning(if I get my dates lol).
