    the bulls boar looks alot smaller to me than the than the malamutes boar does. and theres 3 of them.

    i expect to catch between 15-20 rabbits a night, i dont think that 15-20 runs a night is realy testing a dog.

    ive seen some beddy/whippets that have performed very well and done things that the owner of a large lurcher would be more than happy with, some small dogs can do o.k

    the first litter we bred was so me and my boy could have a pup, we sold the rest 100 pound each to freinds,it was going to be the last time she was going to be put to the greyhound( he sold the first litter of pups pure malamutes for 800 hundred each, except to freinds whitch were a bit cheaper) a freind who as had bull xs all is life asked my boy if he would do the same mateing again,my boy said no as he was putting a malamute to her next time.in the end he said he would for 300 hundred pound each, a few days later the man fetched the mony over. 3 was sold before she went to the greyhound. t

    imo if a dog does loads of work and is very fit it seams less prone to injurys than one that goes out every now again.

    thanks for the replies so far. it interesting to see that people so far are saying they a dog to have had at least 4 seasons under there belt before they consider them tried and tested, but what of those dogs that have done less seasons but more work and are still doing it, surely they are more tried and tested and allready proven to be good dogs.

    how much does a dog have to do to be classed as tried and tested? would you judge a dog buy what it has caught or by the amount of saesons it has under its belt when you say its tried and tested. some dogs catch more in a couple of seasons than other dogs catch in 3 or 4, so where is the line drawn between tried and tested and not tried and tested?

    if advertising one litter of pups makes you a dog/puppy peddler, i would say that 99% of thl members have sold dogs/pups at one time or another so that makes nearly everyone guilty at one time or another. why should 1 advertisment concern the mods?

    you dont know what the dogs are like mate so its a silly thing to say,if you was out to make money what would put to her a malamute or agreyhound id give the grey a bull, bedlington, collie, suluki or wheaten. id put to the malimute a bullet dont step over the line mate no mate of mine dont associate with doggy peddlers. end of havent you got some threads on here about your pups you havent long got rid of mate? doesnt that make you a puppy peddler or is it o.k as long as you are doing it.

    i bet if they were bull Xs for £300 a pup most people would be ejaculating as soon as they see the add. so why not sell the malamute cross for that sort of money. theres bull Xs at stud for £350 in the cmw.

    heres another o.k bitch she had alot of good size bags. she was out with another dog one night and between the 2dogs they had 96 rabbits and 5 hares she had 48 rabbits and 3 hares the other dog had 48 rabbits and 2 hares,taken in turns each dog slipped until they caught 5 rabbits didnt start lamping untill 2 in the mourning. on another ocassion she had 49 rabbits and 2 hares but unfortanitly for her she got caught in a electric fence which effected her running that night. she was a good bitch. labradore X collie/grey

    This dog has had some good size bags on the rabbits his best single handed night was 44 in a little over 4hours he could have caught more but i run out of rabbits. he takes bags in there 20s regular and has plenty of bags in the 30s. he is alsation/collie X whippet/greyhound

    i have seen other crosses picking and chooseing there rabbits, ive noticed alot depends on how much work you are giving the dog as some heavily worked dogs in other crosses will start to pick there runs.

    my dogs been 100 percent stock broken so far. he has been out with other dogs that have had sheep and luckily he hasnt touched them at all. i trust him 110 percent.

    they were caught on my permission i lamped them. yeh i no just seen the photo before. how big is he looks strong. i no where i think ive seen it at tonys or he showed me one similar hes 25.5" wieghs 64lbs
